"I run a fake restaurant on a delivery app"

Clever one ;) But I'm not sure if its really legal to advertise a product as self-made (like in a restaurant), and sell something else.
In my country there is criminal law saying that if you mislead the customer and because of this customer spend money in an unfavorable way you may get to jail for up to 8 years.
Advertising that you operate premium Italian restaurant and selling lasagne from Tesco is misleading customer for sure ;)

Most restaurants use the microwave a lot of times anyway so it is not really that different haha. Good for him

It’s the same thing that most restaurants do. Order from Sysco and the head chef aka microwave cooks it for the customer
I would really like to know where this is common as I'm from an European country and I think this would never occur here.

'yes I have insurance ' of course you do sunshine. I expect you told your house insurance people you're running a business.

The vehicle insurers also know you're using vehicles for commercial use, I guess too?

Presumably, you also registered with your local council to run a business from home?

Saw this yesterday and thought it was really clever. Blackhat tactics in real life!

Not built to last but for the short term bravo

HAHahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhaa. This guy makes me feel stupid.

What part is hard to believe? Buying bland garbage from Sysco or head chef Mr. Microwave?

To be fair it’s not like a whole main course is cooked in the microwave. A lot of appetizers are incredibly microwave friendly though. There’s a microwave in the back of the house at every restaurant in the end.

As for the BS food from bulk suppliers, it is what it is.

Sysco used to be a client of mine back in the bottled water days... half the warehouse crew were wearing parkas as they were in and out of freezers all day long and this was in Florida.

I’m just curious who’s coming to inspect his gene.

Lol I literally bookmarked that one a few hours ago. A "munchies" (snacks) delivery could work too.

This sounds much similar to cloud kitchen concept.

Josh Pieters filmed himself doing this a month ago on the famous delivery app Deliveroo here is the video

It works for sure. But pretty risky.
Guessing the Op copied this. Quite amusing though.
