Monetization ideas for my hobby

Hi everyone! I am looking for idea how to monetize my hobby of listening to music in a specific genre. I was thinking of making a website/blog type where I share my favorite songs.

I am looking for ideas here in BHW but i can't seem to find one..(or I'm not just looking enough).

For making a website/blog, I don't focus on a specific artist/band so I have no idea what to write about it. I just want to share my favorites while earning at the same time.

I am thinking about making a youtube music channel, but i'm worried about the copyrights.

I have a shifting job so i'm thinking of this as a side income, or i might profit big in this and make an asset out of it.


Been a long time lurker here and It's time to man up, kill this laziness and overthinking I won't achieve earning a buck in IM.

I already have a .com domain and web hosting.

Copyrights and traffic will be your only problems with this, unless you don't know how to develop. Will work great if you can get past those obsticles.

Yes, traffic is also the problem and how will I advertise it to users.

Youtube you can share other peoples music, you just need to ensure you credit them etc. YT isn't my thing, but there's a ton of people on here who can advise you better on this aspect. https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/youtube.77/

I'd move towards the 13-18 demographic on Facebook/Instagram ads and funnel from there, no idea on costs haven't really gotten into either of these niches yet.

Nothing is going to yield better information than taking a look at similar websites and learning from them.

(1). Why people will want to read your blog? What they are looking for?
(2). Can you present what they want as a problem-solving product to sell them?
