Software to remote control a PC

Hi BHW! I need a software/service to remote control a PC from a Mac and other PC.

I am planning to buy one of those mini notebooks PCs (w/10 inch display) running Windows to use it for Jarvee, Scrapebox, OBS and some other stuff. It will be ON 24/7 and physically far away from me most of the time.

I want to:

1. Remote control the mini PC using my Mac that has much bigger display so I can comfortable read the interfase text.

2. Optional: Remote control the mini PC from another PC at my regular job or from my Android phone.

Any suggestions?

If its a Windows machine, you could use the Remote Desktop, or just use TeamViewer like BTB said

UltraVnc, TightVnc (but it needs some tinkering), TeamViewer will allow you to set up permanent password you will only have to remember the ID of the machine you want to access. I recommend installing TeamViewer Host on a pc that you want to access.

It depends on your internet connection but TeamViewer is like an industry standard when it comes remote tech support.

I use teamviewer as suggested above, but if you're looking for something else I can recommend Radmin (Remote Administrator), used it a lot in the past.

Portable version is free, full version is paid.

You can adjust screen quality om TeamViewer if you have some lag. TeamViewer has my vote as well.

Usually those 10 inches computers are pretty slow, so think twice before buying one for that purpose. You could get a pretty cheap vps with the same characteristics without spending money on energy. Just my 2 cents

I have used Teamviewer for this purpose. They have an option to link all your devices to your Teamviewer account and you will be able to access the device without the need of having the ID and password. You can access the remote computers from your phone, tablet or another PC.

Have to echo BassTrackerBoats here. TeamViewer is free, fast, and "just works". There are other options but I always seem to run into some kind of problem. I have yet to find something that would make me leave TeamViewer...
