was in a similar situation a year back and that's when I invested in an external HD and I always backup.
i don't use my harddrive anymore to store important files. i just use it now for the games, installs, etc. Everything is under my onedrive account and it has been very very useful!
I'am starting to Move everything to the cloud, you can't trust the Hardware.
I feel sorry for you![]()
That's so sad..
Speaking of which, how do you disable this on Windows? I cannot stand the fact that it runs round-the-clock and I'm unable to remove it (don't know why).
Hey man, you just simple pause the syncing.
There are some UNLIMITED could storage options that some members shared (search through the thread).
sorry to hear that
for me usually for most important documents i do several backups like usb flashdrive (i know its kinda old haha), gdrive, external harddisk, and send the documents to my other email account.
whats the mistake he made? i can't read it :SSad to hear about your loss. I think this has happened to all of us at some point. It's at that point when we learn the following lesson: If you're using a computer for business, you should at the very least setup RAID or use some external backup device.
I already made this mistake before. Did I learn my lesson? No. Will I? Who knows.
