How do you get fresh content from site's niche?

Hello bhw!

Here we go again with newbie questions which can't find an answer to it without being confused.

So, what I'm trying to get is new fresh ideas for my blog to post about;
- What I thought in first place is to look for other niche blogs/sites to see what they post about. But after seeing their topics, I personally thought they weren't good enough or wouldn't attract the eye of my readers.
- I'm thinking on a 'twist' to see what posts did really work well for them, much like IG viral posts. Do you guys know any technique like that? How can I monitor/analise a blog post and know that it got good amount of clicks or ranked well for them?
- What other ways do you recommend me for getting new/fresh ideas? One that comes to my mind is just putting a keyword on 'G' and see what people are looking for..

Just FYI, my content has always been fresh and have never copied any other bloggers. But I'm running out of fresh ideas to post about right now :/

Are you aware of the website Answerthepublic (dot) com? If not, I highly recommend you check it out for keyword ideas. Can't speak much about viral content as Ive never created any for that purpose. But I guess, taking a offbeat approach to a controversial topic, using a catchy title and lots of images can help a post go viral on social media.

Go to Quora and just SCRAPE the most asked questions

Compile the answers - ie., unique answers

Rewrite everything so it is TIGHT / ENGAGING / ATTRACTS ATTENTION

Rinse and repeat

Quora is a gold mine when it comes to niche content gems. Same with REDDIT

Almost forgot about this one. I mean, I used it at the beggining and then forgot it as I wasn't getting any traffic from it to my site, but scrapping content from it is a good idea as well.
Reddit.. its a shame to say it here on bhw, but I'm not really into it. But if there's good content I can scrape ideas from, certainly going to have a look.

Quora is usually the major source of my ideas. Find influencers in your niche and go to the All-Time Views section of their profiles. There you will see which of their posts were the most successful, so you can use them as inspiration.
Reddit is also great. Make sure to check out niche-related forums and Facebook groups — you can get some ideas there, too.

You can also set Google alerts for few keywords to see what gets indexed in your niche. And even get some ideas from there.

Also, you can a similar niche and "steal" content ideas from there.

I normally pay $5 to fiverr gigs for my content - I know, I know it costs some money, but somehow, when the right topic, keyword, and potential are selected and present, and when a good writer that is cheap starts writing for you, that article will get ranked fairly easily, and you get ROI sooner than you think.

It is, I actually started getting some ideas from it. But def. will find influencers as you suggested, didn't know that before. Thanks!

Yeah.. but for now I'm not keen to pay anybody to do my work. Mostly because I make my own style of content, which is quite personal and 1 on 1 focused with the reader (you know what I mean?).
