I have had a very bad experience with a JV here on BHW.
It was a JV about Amazon Seller accounts. The so-called "reputable" and respected member was collecting (maybe is still doing) Amazon seller accounts in return for commissions based on revenue.
The JV did not have a lot of information but considering that it was approved by a moderator decided to join.
I asked the member if he would accept new seller accounts and he agreed.
Note that he never ever mentioned that your account may get suspended !!! Also never mentioned in the JV description.
On July 7, 2019, I delivered the account.
On July 15 account was deactivated.
Reason: Amazon was asking for invoices for the listed products.
On July 23, finally, one of his team members could deliver the invoices.
I sent the invoices to Amazon but the account was still deactivated.
On July 28, one of his team members said that we should send a letter of authorization to amazon.
On August 2nd they finally have the documents ready for amazon.
I never understood why didn't they sent all documents at once on July 23 but that's not my topic anyways. I send all the documents to Amazon (Invoices, letter of authorization)
After sending the docs I open my Amazon selling account and a big surprise there !!!
After this, all the other part is a story. They promised to get back my account, that will call Amazon and bla bla bla ...
Result: never got my account back!
My question is simple, doesn't this "respected" member have to highlit in his JV that he is selling an an-authorized product and there is a high risk of losing the account.
Yeah, I'm so stupid to think that the member will make such an announcement. He is trying to make money, why should he say that, right?
What about the Moderators here, shouldn't they check the JV before approving it?
How can they approve such a JV without mentioning this crucial points?!
Another thing that pissed me of is that my comments on the member's thread were deleted (not only mine) with the reason of spamming. Since when telling the truth is considered spam?!
If mods would allow such comments there, a lot of members could have saved their accounts.
For all the members who join such JV's please be careful. It is important to do due to diligence before entering such JV's.
To all mods, please have a close look at the JV before approving. If you don't have time for that at least let the people involved in the JV leave reviews. You are deleting fair reviews considering them Spam and leave only the good reviews. IMO it is not fair.
