Facebook directly blocks new account?!

I created one FB Account using a freshly created virtual machine with windows 10 and Chrome as a browser. I registered with an aged gmail Email address, that has not been used for Facebook or any FB related services in the past. After I confirmed my E-Mail with the verification code, I directly get blocked by FB for "suspicious activities in my account". Now I have to enter my phone number to confirm.

This can't be normal. Did I make any mistake?

That must be it, I did'nt even have the opportunity to enter personal details. FB sucks nowadays...

This is normal for FB.
Try to increase your anonymity in the Internet, use phone verification and register more accounts.

Try using phone verification, this always work. Or buy aged accounts instead of going into any trouble making dozens of new accounts

For sure, FB is detecting that you are using a virtual machine and that seems to be blocking the account. Moreover Phone verification is something very normal these days.

Phone verification is normal especially with new accounts. If you don't want to use your real phone number (if it's already attached to an existing account) you can get a new temporary phone number and toss it after your account has been verified. They just want to make sure the same person is not creating multiple accounts which is against their terms of service (they want to accurately report the exact number of unique users they have). And yes, I think they have the ability to detect VMs.
