Hello,

I'm not from USA and not a US citizen. Amazon Associates sent me a mail saying my tax information are about to expire and take the tax interview again. I do not have aa TIN number even from my country.

Is it ok if I fill the tax information as below? Will they deduct the 30% tax from my account if I did not enter the TIN number?

They are saying below "If no TIN is provided, any reduction of the 30% statutory withholding tax rate applicable to your U.S. source payments will not apply."

What country are you in? Maybe there's an equivalent number. If not most foreigners put 0000's or 9999's.

Hi, I edited the initial question. I didn't see that we can until both non US TIN and US TIN. But after that it gives another 3 options which I'm not sure that will remove the 30% tax deduction.

I just filled in the third option and its good. No more hassle cos I'm a non USA citizen. did you fill in a tax info before?

will this be a problem? "If no TIN is provided, any reduction of the 30% statutory withholding tax rate applicable to your U.S. source payments will not apply."
