Hey, please can you explain how to create OAuth app for pinterest and how to use it to do an autopilot whith it ?

I do a mixture of stuff ranging from a single url per site/account up to a max of 10 urls per site/account....i then create typically 3k Pins per account and publish them at 48/day...after they are all used in roughly 60 days, I rehash the images and randomize the descriptions for the next 60 day period....

Most of my money sites are large auto-generated content sites....so there is always plenty of urls to use, and as Pinterest web-crawlers now deep crawl your money sites, you need to have plenty of content to keep them happy.

Do you scrap images from pinterest then rehash them or do you scrap them from other websites?

hops are generated by landing on the vendors landing page....there are also ways to ensure that this happens with each visitor.

I have thousands of PINS per account pointing to a single site url....I also have multiple accounts also doing the same without any issues....and as fullwall3t eluded too, you need MANY pins to drive meaningful traffic.

@KevinRB Hello Kevin, do you offer some kind of Pinterest services? I have about 1000 articles ready for pinterest but not pinned all of them yet, about 50 - 60. I have 5 websites with 200 articles each and created images by myself just can't figure it out the best strategy to pin all of them.

If you offer some kind of service to pin all of my articles that would be great.

I presume you are using rotative proxies, only to make the account and save the token and after put it on your custom scheduler ( that's the way you save $ on proxies )

Once you have 5k accounts for example , all those accounts needs to request on 1 IP once is connected to Pinterest via oauth/token . If Pinterest will check that all your accounts are connected to 1 IP, I think all your hard work will be terminated .

Maybe I'm wrong ... but that's the way I think

My scheduler is connected to a 3rd party service that holds the Pinterest OAuth licence....if I have 5k accounts, they are ALL loaded onto my scheduler via OAuth....and all 5k have completely unique settings....so as far as Pinterest sees, they are 5k users of an OAuth approved application....no different really to how TailWind works.

For creating the pins I use BeFunky, create a template, add the images, then push them through a custom software that creates THOUSANDS of new images with text messages attached.

I'm in the process of getting back into Pinterest and rather than taking the mass account bulk pinning approach I'm testing a more WH technique.

From what I can gather Pinterest gives a bigger boost to pinned images they can continually confirm are located on the pinned URL page and that the articles information matches the pinners search query.

Therefore I'm going to hide 10 - 1000+ optimized images in an accordion drop down at the end of the post and use the official Pinterest browser addon to pin the images straight from the page. Whenever their algorithm checks the page the images will be there adding trust.

Basically I'm viewing Pinterest as a search engine like Google. It's possible to spam Google with bulk content (splogging) and get a trickle of traffic but to get consistent results you need to provide original value to visitors. Pinterest is no different.

The easiest thing for them to check is if the pinned image is located on the target URL and the page includes content which corresponds to related keywords.

So, will using a business account with claimed website and method above work better than pure spam? I'll know in the next few months.

I am totally new at Pinterest. I messed up one of my account. I made an account, made 4 to 5 boards and then started pinning different already pins to its. Suddenly it signed out and then boom, it was gone. Account was suspended.

I bumped into this thread. I read all your comments. You look a real pro in this field. I am totally a beginner. I would love to have one or more tips to start.

How many pins can you pin to your boards for the same blog post/URL to not get banned?

I am trying to find out this information and I can't. Nobody has the answer. Some say you can repin with no problem. Others say you can create only 2 pins per 1 URL to pin to your boards, yet you can repin to group boards with no limits.

What do you say guys?

All my pin almost 25k with 1 url homepage its good, and get a lot traffic to my blog ^_^

@KevinRB really thanks to your valuable tips. What I want to ask, how much pins per day do you generate? I want to try something like that as you told on the previous messages. Currently, I've my own script that generates good looking, unique pins. Do you think is it good to start with single account? Cuz, I've attempted too much times to earn something from cb. However, never get success with any affiliate network including cb.Most of my incomes from Adsense. Your tips made me inspired to try something with affiliate.

Kind of off topic from the OP...but yes you are correct that Pinterest removed the OAuth API that was publicly available a year or so ago. They have a new version of their OAuth API...but it is not generally open to the likes of us The session based system was always...and still is...able to be used though (basically like a browser).

Re: needing proxies. Well, for the most part, yes. But...you can use RSS feeds (submitted to Pinterest)...and for that you don't need proxies (other than for creating the accounts to begin with).
