How many pins can you pin to your boards for the same blog post/URL to not get banned?

I am trying to find out this information and I can't. Nobody has the answer. Some say you can repin with no problem. Others say you can create only 2 pins per 1 URL to pin to your boards, yet you can repin to group boards with no limits.

What do you say guys?

I have thousands of PINS per account pointing to a single site url....I also have multiple accounts also doing the same without any issues....and as fullwall3t eluded too, you need MANY pins to drive meaningful traffic.

So you are saying that you can have only 10 blog posts on your site and create 1000 pins pointing back to the same articles?

I do a mixture of stuff ranging from a single url per site/account up to a max of 10 urls per site/account....i then create typically 3k Pins per account and publish them at 48/day...after they are all used in roughly 60 days, I rehash the images and randomize the descriptions for the next 60 day period....

Most of my money sites are large auto-generated content sites....so there is always plenty of urls to use, and as Pinterest web-crawlers now deep crawl your money sites, you need to have plenty of content to keep them happy.

Like One Pinterest Account per site url + 10 sites url per account .

won't it be be fingerprinted if used in like 100 accounts. i want start a project i want to use Pinterest like 100 + but getting a site for each account is way too costly for me now , i was thinking of using Tweets on Twitter as a Pathway .like Pinterest -------> Twitter -----> Site

Can I ask you some more questions if you don't mind? Seems like you have an extensive experience in Pinterest game.

1. Is it safe to pin the same image to multiple boards of yours (related to the topic)? If yes, what is the safe limit you'd say?
2. What do you mean by "rehash" images?
3. How do you create pins ? 3k pins per 60 days per 1 account seems like a lot.
4. How do you monetize your sites?
5. Is it ok for Pinterest to have auto-generated content sites?

I am NOT recommending one money site per account....what I have said is that I run MULTIPLE accounts per money site, and that each account is either pointing to a SINGLE url on my money site or I use a max of 10 money site urls per account....

I have never ran Pinterest traffic through any other Social sites to my money sites so I cannot really comment on your strategy....all I would say is that when I used to run Twitter traffic....you could get decent traffic, but it was rubbish at converting.

1. yes, I do it all the time as most of the images I use are Royalty Free, so there is always cross-over of the same basic image being used on multiple accounts.
2. rehash = manipulate the image so that it is different from the original version.
3. I create enough pins per account so that the EXACT same Pin never appears more than once per 2 month period, after that I rehash the images and re-use....rinse & repeat.
4. CB + other aff networks + to a lower amount Adsense....but many top Pinterest marketers use just Adsense earning 5 figure monthly incomes+
5. what difference is there between auto-generated & curated sites?....MANY of the top sites on Pinterest are just mash-ups of content they have gathered from other sites?.

IF you are running mass P accounts.....by that I mean 500+ accounts, then your suggestion is not practical.

Repinning - YES, the more times you repin your original created Pins, the more traction your accounts will receive as long as the repin accounts are related to the repinned pin....

So is it OK to use one site with different post links with like 50 accounts

This answers your question?.

Kevin, what do you mean by meaningful traffic? In numbers.

And is your aff / adsense above $15 per 1k P clicks? Your setup sounds kind of complicated so would be interesting to know some numbers.

BTW, thanks for your tip some time ago about multilogin. It is actually a great tool.

Kevin, what do you mean by meaningful traffic? In numbers. - I have accounts that drive only 50 daily visitors up to accounts that deliver 500 daily visitors, it is ALL down to selecting the niches that the Pinterest audience is looking for and creating the Pins that get the clicks....sorry I cannot be any more precise, but because I cover many niches there is real disparity between the numbers....BUT, even with lower numbers in much smaller niches, you can still get decent sales.

And is your aff / adsense above $15 per 1k P clicks? - I do a decent amount of income personally with CB, typically the offers I promote are $30+ commission per sale, and it takes me typically 800-1000 hops per sale. Adsense is purely down to picking the right niches that allows you to create great images, and is of interest to Pinterest visitors.

Your setup sounds kind of complicated so would be interesting to know some numbers. - I have automated MUCH of the overall processes I now run, image scraping, processing, creation & manipulation, I also had a custom scheduler created that utilizes OAuth access via the Pinterest API, which means that once I have added a new account to my scheduler, I do not need proxies at all within my Pinning activities....in terms of scale, with my processes I can grow my total accounts just as large as I want....all at a very affordable cost.

800-1000 hops from your website to Clickbank product sales page? Or you meant 800-1000 clicks from your pinterest to your website to make a sale?

P.S. Your info is really valuable Kevin, appreciate it a lot!

hops are generated by landing on the vendors landing page....there are also ways to ensure that this happens with each visitor.

Cheers, great infos.

"Adsense is purely down to picking the right niches that allows you to create great images, and is of interest to Pinterest visitors." - Adsense is not too bad. I can squeeze $100 per day out of them without doing much. I have tried a lot aff stuff and never had any luck. But $30+ per 1k is kind of interesting. Might gonna try CB on more time.

"OAuth access via the Pinterest API..." - Yeah i have a similar setup. Proxies are a waste of time.

Do you maybe know how to scrape vids from Pinterest? API + Pinterest Embeds do not work anymore, which i have used before.

Thanks
