I am a graphic design/marketer. I normally begin with a design or website for local clients. When completed then we talk SEO. I also look for listing on Google Business pages that need help to rank and send a quick email.

What are the best way to get new SEO clients?
It depend, what you can offer for the customers.
If you're enough good and have resources in their niche - give them trial offer with guaranteed SEO results.

As only you'll achieve what you promised - in over 95% they will become long-time customers for nice $$.
Also in this case - customers know that paying for the real expert, not just "SEO reports"

It making the huge difference.

Cheers, Greg.

Just work in the solar industry... the best way to acquire a client is to simply run into someone who's already looking for someone like you... and the solar industry's always looking.

Cold calling
this works but you need sales skill for it. sales takes a while to learn. As a shortcut, you could just present results during a cold call. "I made $___ for ___ Business with my SEO. I'm willing to do the same for you."

Cold calling does help. But if you simply pitch what you are selling and ask for money, no way you will be able to crack sale. Better ask for some convenient time, setup a small demo of whatever SEO services you are offering, show some previous results and you will have best chances.

The best way is Googling something like "Dentist in Boston" and just call anyone who isn't in the best rank search, offer your services and make some money, i have heard that people can earn around $ 100 per day with this method. Good Luck.

Best regards.

$100 a day? A good SEO or marketing will be charging that an hour, at least

He recommends that from his 10 days experience on the forum and not to forget the 100+ posts that he has accumulated in those 10 days lol

I believe he was more or less referring to a fly-by-night SEO guru/freelancer/outsourcer. Not someone with actual SEO credibility.

Exactly! Old school technique are not going to work as you expected. Strategy has been changed.

Make use of outsourcing sites like upwork, peopleperhour or any such sites you will Find clients there who are looking for someone just like you.

That's exactly what happens, bro. Not everyone is an professional SEO marketer, obviously if you are a professional you're probably not reading this kind of threads. And for newbies $ 100 per day (without having knowledge) can be a huge amount of money.

Best regards.

OK, tell ya some basics of business

Be the go to person in your business world

Don’t bother with your competitors and work with the good ones

pay your suppliers quickly, some will send clients

don’t be a guru, be the results guy

never be the cheapest guy, you’ll be paid late and high turnover

If you don’t have the knowledge, don’t sell it.

always read stuff in your industry, it’s better to be sure you already know, if you’re reading and learning loads, you’re doing it wrong

Thanks all! When you cold call, how do you ask for the business owner, for example a dentist?
