I've noticed a trend in some of my domains that I've registered that leads me to believe that EMD's are still ranking on Bing quite easily.

Here's an image from a website I have that has less than 1,000 words:

If you think backlinks are powering this thing, think again. Here's the Ahrefs data:

What's even more intriguing is the 2nd keyword that isn't ranking on Bing at all. The one that's ranking is the plural version, which is also used in the domain. However, the keyword that doesn't have the "s" isn't ranking at all on Bing, and is #2 on Yahoo.

I decided to go on Google and look up the "intitle:"[keyword]" results and it's 49 which is pretty low competition and what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately, I can't do an experiment for a keyword that gets almost 0 searches on Bing. It doesn't make sense financially.

Instead, I've found a keyword that has 1,250 monthly searches, according to the Bing keyword tool, and 107 results when doing the intitle check. The .com was taken but I'm sure .net will do just fine.

I'm going to clone one of my other websites so I can avoid doing extra work and I'll likely order and article with 1,500 words. I'll then see if it'll rank on its own. If it doesn't, I'll add more content to it. If it shows up on Bing, I'll use some free backlinking that @Rachmaninoff has been sharing so generously on the forum. The goal here is to see whether EMD's rank on Bing easily, for very little cost. The cheap PBN method gets the sites banned from Bing nowadays so that won't work. However, if I need to spend some money to give this that last boost it needs, I'll be happy to do it.

Is there any particular SEO optimization method or plan you will be following that suits Bing?

The website I posted above has absolutely nothing special to it. H1 title with keyword inside it and LSI spread throughout. It has less than 500 words so I'm sure adhering to regular on-page SEO optimization will suffice, as this website has not been optimized and is collecting dust at the moment.

Where does this information come from? I have analyzed like few dozens of websites and see them ranking with cheap and low qualty pbn's in bing.

Might've been the cheap PBNs I've used on here.

i purchased an EMD 2 days ago that have 1600 search a month and 25 KD, i will launch my site in coming days, as i have couple of things to finish, just to see if it will work on google, as i stongly believe that EMD is still working if you play well with anchors!

Always heard EMDs are favored in Bing. Nice to see a case study, good luck.

EMD and spam still work surprisingly well for Bing. Exact match anchor texts, comments, GSA all seem to work.

I'm loving Bing. Doesn't have the damn Google sandbox... Of course none of the traffic either.. Two if my keywords that show 800-1.5,k in Google show 0 in Bing research tool... Oh well.. Still feels great to have 3 or 4 articles on the first page in week 2.

I love a good case study. Thanks op

This will be definitively interesting to see. Thanks for the case study buddy!

It's good thing. Is it new domain or old one. Following u

I just did some digging around and found a crappy site with EMD ranking first page of Bing for a best of article. Lots of potential to create some EMD domains and make some money short term anyways.
