Depressed. Earned R1m + and lost it

I didn't grow up having money and when i earned it online i wanted to have everything i always dreamt of having. I wish i saved some of it, but i am working hard to earn and save and use a portion of it for essentials.

care to mention the network and also what did you stop entirely to blow some money off or your method tanked?

Got to agree with the first reply on this thread, a lot of us have been there including me. It sucks and I feel your pain, but the best thing you can do now is learn from your past and move on to make even more money, obviously being wiser with your spending.

I grow up seeing my fridge with pieces of rotten lettuce and some eggs, when the fridge even worked hahah. Always makes me smile when I think about it.

But that gave me a perspective about what "making it" really means, right?

Ideally you want to find a long term investment that doesn't put you back into the mud, meanwhile giving you the money to live happily.

If you grew up poor I guess your family needs help to, so you have to have goals that are bigger than a car.

I don't even have the time to get my license and I'm 24 .. Hilarious

Learn from this experience. I wish you accomplish big things.

Your first impulse is to buy things the other rich kids always had, to be socially accepted and live the "good life".

I have learnt a very good lesson and now my sole purpose is to invest and be able to provide for my family as well.

PS.. Even though i wasted some of the money, i dont at all regret providing for my family. Just wish i was wise enough to invest. But you live and learn.

Never been depressed myself, but seen it very close. From your words, seems like you can motivate yourself and do another journey, a better one, with less silly spending. So start it!

In terms of spending, it's good to be careless sometimes, I don't sleep on it. Had done it, enjoyed the ride, and moved on to make more money

It's ok to make a mistake.

I did something similar to you but with clothes, but at that time I had way more than 70k.

Till this day from my income I take what my family needs and the other I reinvest it ALL. Literally.

Having done this for a while I saw my income go DOWN DOWN DOWN then UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP UP
