I need help deciding what product to start dropshipping with

Hey Fellas!

I have been planning to start dropshipping for quite a while now. I am a fluent mandarin speaker, have been living in china for more than five years. I worked with many companies offline finding them trustworthy suppliers and dealing with supplier. Basically, I have been working as a trade agent.

I want to start dropshipping on my own but I can't figure out what product or niche to start with. I have been researching for a couple of days but I can't decide what niche or product would be profitable. I don't want to select a niche out of my feeling or emotion, I want to select a winning product which will make money for sure, I know it doesn't totally depend on the niche/product but I got my people who can do the best possible insta/FB marketing. I'm not going to order or find suppliers from Aliexpress, I have better chinese websites to find super trustworthy suppliers for cheaper than Aliexpress.

Could you guys give me some ideas, how to select the winning $$$ product/niche for dropshipping?

As far as picking a winning product, why not use your experience as a trade agent to get at least an idea of a few industries that were high demand.
From there its a simple reverse engineer play to pick a few products to run with.

Fwiw, I would be highly interested in networking with you regarding new trustworthy suppliers...the lady i used for the last few years must have fallen in love or something because she is MIA.

From there its a simple reverse engineer play to pick a few products to run with.

The thing is that I’m looking for small products not heavy weight. I have been helping companies to buy vehicle parts and motors, I don’t find them good for online dropshipping.

When you want to drop ship or sell online, always bear in mind that women are the highest shoppers all over the world, and anything about them sell very well but highly competitive too.

There are some small weight unique women jewelry in China you can drop ship. Also try beauty products. I have some experience, maybe we can benefit from each other; I give you product tips, you tell me some trustworthy Chinese sites I can deal with.

Market approach will make your life much easier, and your success rate way higher instead of product approach first. Meaning, instead of looking for the ’perfect’ product, find your perfect audience first.

Pick top 3 niches you want to be in, join groups, check niche related magazines, websites, big FB pages, shops/brands, influencers/authors. You will get an idea on who the audience is, how old, what they like, etc. If you go an extra mile, ask magazines for their media kit where they have their audience layout of their subscribers so you can easily target the same pool of people on Facebook.

What is the buzz around those sites? What are they passionate about? What kind of products do you see often? What are they emotionally attached to?

If someone is paying to be in a magazine, do you think that product is selling? You can find something similar + make a bundle with related product to be 100% unique (and make more money). This way you will be way ahead of anyone else starting.

Do your research first, and everything will follow. You will learn more about niche and get ideas instantly.
