Alright, so here is a poll for all you Entrepreneurs out there. Please be respectful in comments and try to help me and others understand this:

Currently, BHW only allows 1 account per user. This becomes a problem if you want to create multiple businesses and use different accounts to protect each brand.

QUESTION:

Should BHW allow users to create multiple accounts? (User must pay a fee of course, but doing this allows us to protect each brand so they do not counteract each other.)

**Please explain why in the comments.

No. You can sell multiple products off of one username. Having multiple usernames would mean you could do a shitty job on one username but it won't effect the others. If someone is a bad seller, spreading it out just makes it harder to figure out who you're dealing with.

you can open multiple bst with one account then why need more account

You are still the same person so why would you need multiple accounts to "protect" your brand

Why would you need to protect them all individually? That makes it sound like you're expecting unsatisfied buyers or something

well if you have multiple businesses then you can start individual marketplace thread of each of your businesses in respected marketplace forums. why do you need new accounts to manage multiple businesses? Ultimately all businesses will be under you only right?

If a user sells SEO services for his company and makes an account wrapped around SEO services, but after learning more things, he wants to build another brand maybe around Marketing. His account is then stuck to an SEO niche.

If he pays lets say a $250 fee to create a new business account, then he can properly manage messages, threads, etc depending on which company he needs to assist with.

If still no, no worries. I just thought it was a bit odd in the case of using BHW to build a company you know? Like, you wouldn't buy shoes from a SEO company, etc.

Then change your username to a general web services type company, and act as an umbrella for smaller entities instead.

Changing your username would confuse the traffic from the orginal thread though. People recognize 2 things when viewing threads:

- Images and Text

Also, management of support from each thread would be more organized in my opinion but according to the poll votes I think I am alone and might just have to work around it ;) Thank you everyone who has voted and spoke.

Prime example of this in the UK is a household name. Started as a pharmacy chain so was called Boots The Chemist.

Now they sell different products, so are just called Boots.

If you want to sell more than seo and your username is abc-seoservices then change it to abc-services

Doesn't make sense. This is a forum account, you're not forming a company here, you can do whatever business you want to do under one account without any issues. If you're worried that your name only represents an SMM panel then get your name changed. It's free once every year.

and might just have to work around it ;)

Creating more than 1 account and you'll lose them all, if that is what you are inferring here.

No no, I don't mean work around the system. I meant work around the rules if that makes sense. Possibly what will end up happening is to change the name and image to a more open brand.

Thanks all for comments.

I respectfully disagree because even though your username is different, the thread topic is the same. I don't buy from usernames, I buy because I believe the sales pitch is offering what they state. Then I move on to who else has used the service to find out what they thought of it and finally I MAY look at your name as an afterthought just to see if you are somebody that is talked about by other members.

Some sellers on here have rather unusual usernames but it wouldn't stop me buying so long as they are offering quality and value

That is a minor mistake a lot of guys do when they start out on BHW; pigeon hole their opportunities by branding their username to a specific skill set/service and can end up bad as the IM world is fluid to the point that at some time many services, methods, and business models are no longer effective and become obsolete.

This is a pretty terrible idea because it would lead to less transparency for buyers.
What you're suggesting is basically smoke and mirrors for vendors.

I don’t see a reason for it, and like BTB said you’d actually end up hurting yourself in the end. If you provide a great SEO service thread, and decide to create some other sales thread people are more likely to buy based on your current name/rep alone.

I’d be more worried if they DID allow it because sellers would have an easy way around bad reputations.

I see what you mean. It's better however if bhw don't change this, because people will exploit it to death.
I think it's better to change your name to a more broad one, like most people suggested here, or you can JV with other people and let them create the sales thread.
