Hello guys I need your expertise on a subject.

So lets say I buy some domains , expired or not but niche specific, and use them as redirects on my main page.

Now my question is. If I use those sites in my articles(mainmoneysite) for specific keywords (not my mainmoneysite's KW) will they rank for them?

You want to rank the 301s? your question is little confusing.

Yeah exactly. My point is, if my mainsite.com has lots of traffic and ranks for eg. crab-burgers in #1 can I use it to rank my homeburgersrecipes.com high in the 'home burgers recipes' search? So that I can direct that url's traffic to my mainsite.com too?

If my understanding of indexation is correct, the 301 redirect indicates a permanent redirect. This means that the google will ignore the page and go straight to the new page. As a consequence the url that has been 301'd isn't going to rank.

homeburgerrecipes.com will no longer be indexed if the homepage is redirected to mainsite.com
