[TIK TOK] Follow Limits & Returned Engagement

Below you'll see a random, newbie tik tok user who has an easy 1/3 follow back ratio or better, with tons of engagement on a (maybe even a viral) low quality video
(It's not my account, but it's the highest "following" I've seen so far)

Twitter limit: 5,000 on most accounts

Instagram limit: 7,500 on all accounts

Tik Tok limit: 10,000 on accounts (maybe more)

I've seen somewhere in a thread somebody mentioning "you can't follow more than 2,000 people"

And I only follow 2,400 people,

So this might offer alot of insight!

Instagram is still booming , but it's not how it was. They're fixing / changing things that don't need to be changed (not speaking about bots, I mean specifically - stupid updates nobody likes and you see complaints flood their media comments) It's the little things that irritate users and push them else where

But is it the same it was for influencers back in the day?
Sadly no.
If influencers aren't winning , they're not releasing quality content.

No quality content = the app hits a recession point. More losses than growth.

I've had a BHW user comment on my thread saying he posted a video yesterday and got 400 views without really trying.
That's called generous & what influencers deserve. Attention.

Instagram can only cut back the organic reach so much before people start using other apps & use instagram as a second-hand app


Why post on instagram for 150 views
When 3 out of 30 posts on tik tok go viral, and your average posts get more engagement & reach

To be an influencer you need to influence people.
To influence people, you need to reach people.

I got a 1:3 follow back ratio, thats pretty high. Do your posts also get “viral” for a short period of time, like until 600-700 views, and after that they just die ? Im getting annoyed by this, my max views on a video is only 1400.

For now i am still testing and i saw that in less than 10 minute you can go to 100 follow with no issue

Since there's no app to check who unfollowed you, when I unfollow everybody and repeat, I should be close to 5-10k on tik Tok, and continuously growing

Since you don't have thousands of followers yet and you're probably still in the security watched stage,

Tik Tok is probably doing small samples of reach on your profile to test the engagement ratio & interest in your feed

My most viral video has a little less than 5,000 views then the growth got cut off
And I was at about 500 followers

Do you have 1-200 followers and pushing 1-2000 views?

If so there might be a similar 10× reach cap going on, to make people interested but lock it off at 10× so people don't get too popular and never buy ads

Okay so if their is some restriction then maybe i will focus more on going viral but still don't know how kids seems to do it pretty easly with no knowledge just posting and getting many views i know i have to use viral video but it's not only that i think it's something else maybe the timing of video i think the more the video is shorter the more you can go viral (maybe) i will try and see..
