How are you building the tools for your website?

I have a question about the Homepage. When I started my current project I was writing a long article and didn't touch it for a while. Then I decided to continue with this project and the website was already ranking for a few really good keywords. That's why I left the text there and didn't change it.

My website is growing pretty fast right now, but 1/4 of the monthly traffic comes through my website. I want to shorten the text to around 200-300 words by splitting the topic in different blog posts because I'm afraid to loose these rankings . One of them is a kw with 4000 estimated visitors and I rank there in 2nd place.

Do you think that's the right way to get rid of the long text on my homepage (3000 words) without loosing a crucial amount of traffic?

I know your not asking my advice but don't do this!!

Taking a 4000 word page that is ranking and chopping it up into 200-300 word snippets is a recipe for regret

Update:

So what I did is, made an ebook out of the content I had on the website (the book silo I have discussed above) and started asking for emails.

I am creating a proper funnel. I am pretty fucking noob at it right now.

But here is what I am thinking:
> Opt for the ebook
> Welcome email & asking them to add me on primary tab + download link to the ebook
> 1 introduction post where I explain who am I and why I should you listen to me
> Info article on niche
> Best article on niche & deal

That's 7 day sequence. Now I have to convert the buyer again and again. I am thinking to hire a person for Facebook group who will keep them engaged and grow it as well.

Growing active people on the email is the aim.

Beauty products, $80-300, commission is 20%.

Selling 50+ a day is the aim for. I am doing around 10-20 easily.

I have around 250 guest posts lined up for this. I am thinking to do 15-20 per month.

I have not started linking to the reviews, best articles yet. Still they are doing pretty well.

Authority sites needs time and power distribution between the posts.

I am trying to rank different info posts first.

If everything goes well, this site can be an authority making me $1M+ a year easily. Aim is to do more though but lets hope for the best

Currently the site is doing 200+ from private affiliates per day, didn't check Amazon for days I will probably just ditch them in the long run as they recently banned my account for using images. Amazon is fuckol lol.

That's probably a good start.
This is what I made yesterday: 179+ 45 = 224 (only 10 sales, aim is 50! Short term)

Fiverr developers they do okay for the price I pay them plus I have some knowledge too. I am just a very very bad designer. I always look for awesome people to do that.

You will probably lose the traffic. But if you want to make it more professional, just go for it.

Make sure that your content is explains the topic completely without fluff.

I will recommend long form articles though. 1000+ maybe?

Yup. You can't just download and use the images on your website

You have to download via their code or using API. I forgot to tell that to my VAs lol. Happens with everyone

I have a suggestion for you about this.

Don't use email marketing for this, use messenger bot trust me is the way to go right now, the open rate in messenger is way higher than email, and when someone downloads the book from messenger he will be a subscriber so you can send him messages in messenger anytime you want.

Use Manychat they have a growth tool you can add widget to your website with book download.

What I don't get is that you wanna build an authority site, but you use PBNs???

Using PBNs will lower the value of your site when you sell it.
