You know..

I never had a father figure. My father was never present and at 16 he left me, my sick mom and my 13 years old sister with 20€ and some bottle of waters.

I remember I was so socked, I never trusted any adult anymore.

I needed to make quick money, I knew a little English so I started Googling how to make some quick cash online.

Everybody was saying you needed to learn copy.. I didn't know what it meant so I started buying random books and to be honest I didn't understand anything.

Until, for the first time, I had The Ultimate Sales Letter in my hands. It was really revolutionary for me.

Since then I decided I would only get a main mentor in my life and it was him.

I bought all his books and learned how to invest my money wisely and thanks him I can offer my skills as a service to scale businesses to big numbers via direct-marketing.

That's the guy you listen and study from and make money, guaranteed.

He literally saved 3 lives in my family and about a hundred businesses that I helped through his strategies and approach to marketing.

One day I wish to be as impactful as he is and will be forever.

Yeah, Schwartz, in my book, is the goat when it comes to copywriting, but that's besides the point. Anyways, there is something about these old guys that our generation marketers lack...Class. Authenticity. The way they carry themselves. I am not sure if anyone has seen Gene's speech he gave at Rodale Press, but I could actually feel positive energy radiating with every word.

And yes. In MBAs and Business school they kind of do that, they give you a slight introduction on what it is and who are the leaders.

Especially during these digital era.. I never went to UNI but I have the pleasure to work with a lot of startups and businesses ran by ex students.

They all seem to have a good education on managing what's already there but not to grow, market and fit.

I can guarantee that most successful startups exploded thanks to direct response marketing knowledge.

The whole "growth marketing" or "growth hacking" trends came up from people that studied scientific advertising and direct marketing.
