Hi,

I wonder if activating Stripe as a UK company has fewer hassles than with a US LLC.
They don't ask for SSN, EIN, and other such numbers. All numbers are 'optional'.

Here's what I'd like to do:
*Add Payoneer's UK bank account
* Set up Stripe by selecting UK instead of US

Is that a better approach?

UK stripe accounts are fairly straightforward to be honest, I am in the UK myself.

A little heads up, after so many transactions, they do require verification documents, IE: proof of business certificates, etc.

I do have a company registered here in the UK and have processed a fair amount through stripe, just ensure you plan ahead of the game and be ready to provide essential documents.

Also note, depending on the niche, IE: Clothing, they ask for supplier invoices, proof of fulfillment etc.

They do also require, a bank statement, with your address on, this has happened to me before, so be prepared.

Hope this helps, :)

Ok what about taxes, is it common for e-commerce owners to pay little to no income tax to any kind of benefit/workaround? Do you know any foreigners who run UK entities from abroad or non UK Nationals running UK companies in the UK who happen to enjoy low income tax benefits?

does anyone know if its better to go for a UK limited company instead of a LLC in the US for ecommerce and digital products services sold to international customers?
