Running client's IG for €?

Hello,

if you run (or would you run) an Instagram for your clients, what marketing would you do?

I came up with these strategies: F/UF competitors followers, daily post, engaging with followers, DMs

What would be your idea?

Also, isn't it dangerous to do the F/UF for your client's account? Maybe manual F/UF is safer?

If you aren't sure then you probably shouldn't be taking on clients... your best bet is to run your personally accounts successfully and then use them as a proof of concept when pitching clients. If you're able to do it steadily for your own accounts, not much changes when you land clients.

I already run some accounts, I'm just curious what strategies would you implement when using client's account.

Because I'm more comfortable working with my own accounts then with my client's in some methods.

What about manual F/UF ? Let's say you are doing IG for restaurant and you want to attract competitor's followers and do like 100 throughout the whole day manually.. What do you think about this?

Thats alraedy another story, but never automate for clients (not in this stage where Instagram is purging everything and everyone)

It was for example. Also, additional 500 local followers is great if you are restaurant..

You are right about local influencers, never thought about them.

I didn't say that local followers are bad, I've asked you if is it worth your time to do manual follow/unfollow?

Local followers are the best for restaurants, barbers, bars etc...

Find a few local influencers, and set up them weekly.

One shoutout from influencer per week, people will get more fimilliar with (and also you will increase interest in) the restaurant and get more trust in the good food your owner offers to his customers...

One of the main things is to have the restaurants IG page high quality, to get as much as possible new followers/customers.
If the IG page will look like a trash or even like a some average page, people wont be that interested in going to the restaurant.

One more tip:
Tell your influencers to record bunch of stories in the restaurant (these are performing really well), also to not loose the your restaurant between other stories and after one day, tell the influencer to take at least one picture in/outside the restaurant and mention the place in the caption.

It depends on a lot of things. I wouldn't have a fixed price for this service. I would try to make a price appropriate to the client's goals and expectations, so we can create a long-term relationship.

Great ideas right here! I always thought only about big influencers and so on, never thought about using local influencers for restaurants.

It's great to use local influencers since they are known in the city by teens and many other people.

These people charge nonsense amount of money for a shoutout, local/small influencers have a normal prices, better audience and a they are happy if they can promote something, since it is (for them) start as the “influence” carier...

Client management for F/UF is a tricky business right now.

I personally would just run local ads and contact local influencers. Safest way and your playing by the rules until IG fnishes this big power trip they are on.
