Rank first video on a new channel?

Is it possible to rank the first video on a new channel? Or do I have to build a niche first? I've seen channels first videos blow up before.

It actually happens all the time in one of my niches. Make your first video long and good quality and it can happen. You gotta promote it though...not just expect YouTube to give you views.

no chance at all.. i believe only jenelle eliana can rank video on yt in a new channel.

ranking a video on a newly built channel thats impossible. always remember one thing youtube is a long term platform. no short cut method will last long even if you able to do it chances are ypp may get suspended in future.
