Gravedig Confirmation Before Commenting on an Old, Inactive Thread

Is it possible (in BHW 2.0) to have a confirmation message show if a user is trying to reply on a thread from years ago that hasn't had a reply in 6+ months, before the post goes through? It might help prevent some accidental gravedigging and bringing old, outdated information to the top of the forum.

Just a thought! And the 6 months is arbitrary, maybe a year, two years, whatever.

I apologize if this has been brought up before, I didn't see it when I was looking through - if it has, please feel free to lock and/or delete.

You might have something there, @FakeJimmyFallon.

We've talked about auto closing some threads after a certain time period but I don't think we have talked about having threads with no activity for X amount of time go into a moderation queue.

I'll link your thread here in the Mod forum where that was being discussed.

I appreciate the kind words, happy to help out when I get any (half decent) ideas since I've considered BHW a second home for many years now.
