Can't rank videos anymore! Help needed!

The last couple of month shave been very rough for Youtubers, the tactics now being used by the big guys is to post videos regularly (best daily) on your channel. If you do that Youtube will feature your videos more which means more views and your videos will rank higher.

SMM panels can give you enough to reach an organic audience. Your content actually needs to be good though. Spend time editing and making it very high quality. Use SMM panels to boost your videos on alternate platforms too which drives organic traffic to YouTube.

I don't see this benefiting my competitors who are uploading videos daily or every other day. My views dropped too over the last 2-3 months. And the freshly uploaded videos don't get that much exposure as before. It doesn't mean they will not get views in future though, because some of them do get regular views later on.

I was checking my competitors who have different approaches and different type of content. I also checked those who upload almost every day and those who were exploding in views 3 months ago. But all of them, literally like 95% of them are experiencing drop in views.

I tried to upload daily in December 2018 to see if it will boost the views since the month was slow to me. And you know what? It didn't. Even before the latest updates. But at the same time it take SO MUCH TIME to shoot, edit, and upload the videos every single day to see your views drop anyway. Like wtf?

Since then I don't even bother doing daily uploads. 1 or 2 videos a week - max.

Of course it depends on the niche and on the content. I have an educational YT channel in MMO niche. In other niches, especially in entertainment, things can be different. But I'd rather start writing a blog and rank it in Google the rest of the days of the week. At least it's way more predictable and easier to control.

It all boils down to the competitiveness of the niche. The MMO niche is very competitive. Also i should have included search for very long tail keywords, and use it for your videos, even if the search amount is small, make sure it is highly optimized and eventually over time it will begin to rank for high competitive keywords.

Unfortunately it doesn't work as SEO in Google where you can edit the content multiple times, build backlinks and manipulate a lot of other things. With Youtube you are very limited at what you can do comparing to google seo. But oh well. I keep creating content cuz I like it. Hopefully eventually my views will double at least.

Yes patience is the key. just keep putting out quality content, and post videos regularly, Youtube will reward you. Another trick i notice the big guys use is like if they have a 1 hour video, they break it up into different parts and have part 1, 2, 3 etc. This technique keeps viewers clicking from video to video which boosts the engagement rate for your channel.
