Can't rank videos anymore! Help needed!

Hi everyone! Does anyone else have the same issues when it comes to ranking videos lately. During the last two months I have difficulties in ranking my videos and I can't find a solution to my problem. I know that YouTube has rolled out some updates lately but I can't figure out a way to rank again.

Do you use the same channel to try to ranking your videos during the last two months? If you have 7-10 failed test in the same channel, youtube easily detects the channel, and this means your channel never be successful about ranking your videos again.

What strategy were you previously implementing to rank your videos? If you share the specifics of the situation someone should be able to help find you a solution.

Are you trying to rank blackhat videos (like game hacks), how competitive are the keywords your targetting, how are you optimizing metadata, are you boosting metrics and if so what kind of views, likes, comments, etc. were you hitting your videos with (drop rate, speed, geo locations of viewers, views traffic sources), how many channels you working with and how do you manage them, what kind of accounts are you using, are your videos just ranking poorly or are they not indexing at all, etc.

I think he means the so called 'shadowban'. But this thing isn't proved and isn't official, so we can just guess about...
Personally, I think that it exists, but for stuff like comments when comments from shadowbanned users aren't visible for anyone else.

Yes, I mean shadowban. I did many tests about the algorithm and experienced this situation. I tried the same channel for months, and when i change the channel, i realized the problem is not about my method.

Before when I was uploading a video I was getting 1-2k views in 48h and VidiQ was reporting that I rank for 3-10 keywords in top 1-20 (depending on the keyword). After 48h my ranking usually dropped but I was getting the initial boost needed to keep the video alive. Now I barely get 500 views in 48h and acording to VidiQ report I rank for 1-2 keywords in top 10-20.

The few latest updates are really bad for newer videos because now the algo insist of reranking older videos some even years old back to the top, they aren't ranking new videos with quickest views or interactions like they used to.

After 48h my ranking usually dropped but I was getting the initial boost needed to keep the video alive. Now I barely get 500 views in 48h and acording to VidiQ report I rank for 1-2 keywords in top 10-20.

the recent updates on youtube (in the past 4 months) did changed the ranking algorithm, i don't know what niche you are working on, but if it's a competitive niche, i suggest you try to stream your video live (same video in a loop, with the SAME description, tags, titles that are SEO optimised), i see many livestreams every day and they manage to boost positions in ranking very well (for the time the video is live!)

I think you're right. My old videos are starting to rank really well. The funny thing is my videos ranking the best are ones that had very cheap SMM panel views back when they worked really well. Lmao...

So yesterday night I had a roughly 50% drop in views on my 3 channels at the same time. 3 channels 3 different niches all dropped at the same time. I manage all these channels from 1 IP. I will wait another month and if I will not recover from this penalty I will quit working with YouTube .

You just gotta use the methods that are working today. It's all about watch time and engagement now.
