I met mine at university.

She had a boyfriend when we met (didn't tell me). She dumped him for me. I eventually dumped her, so I guess it all equaled out lol.

Meeting in real life is ideal, but it's harder nowadays. I recommend picking up a hobby that skews female. Don't choose a hobby ONLY to meet women though.
