My scuba diving log books are all live now. Today I created 20 covers for a fishing journal/log book, and I'm uploading them now. They take about 24 hours to go live.

This is the interior I'll use, and an example cover:


My best selling mandala coloring book hasn't sold today yet, so I'm lowering its price down to $6.99.

Not yet. And I don't think I will do any promotion for the low content books. I plan on running AMS ads for the coloring books during holiday season.

I've uploaded 26 fishing log books yesterday, they are all still under review.

Unfortunately, my mandala didn't sell yet after tweaking the price. I must've messed up its rank.

Today I've ordered 30 drawings of fishes in aquariums that I'll use for a coloring book. I've already started making some covers for it, not sure yet which one I'll use, but this is my favorite so far:

I can't tell you my exact source, but there's different websites that offer images for commercial use.

I first try to create covers myself by using artwork I buy with commercial use rights, and combine different elements. If I'm not satisfied with the result, I hire a professional to make a cover for me.

Yes, I create one page (or 2, depends on the book) and then repeat it 100 times to get a 100 pages log book.

I had uploaded multiple picture books a couple of years back but those were ebooks. I had used kindle creator to create a mobi file. Which free tool can we use to create paperbacks....i am sure the formatting will be different from ebooks.

I use Adobe InDesign. I never tried ebooks, but I should create some digital planners for iPad, I think they are popular.

Two coloring books sold yesterday, and my bestseller sold again. I still see the old royalties, since the sales appear only when the book is shipped. So when you want to test different pricing, you should keep a price for 1-2 weeks before changing it.

I've created 20 sudoku books using the puzzle software, making the covers now and will submit them later tonight.

I uploaded about 20 books back in November 2018. One of them was my actual bestseller, the mandala coloring book.
I wish I had uploaded more, since I could've gotten that momentum during Q4 where most of the sales happen.
No, I'm not promoting my books yet. They sell organically on Amazon.

I haven't uploaded anything during the weekend, since I usually don't work on weekends (family time). The sales have been pretty good.
I've had a total of 10 sales. My bestseller, the mandala coloring book sold once with the new $2 royalty.
A Christmas coloring book for adults that I've uploaded last week, sold twice during the weekend which is very good news. Getting sales this fast after uploading is a good sign for hitting a good niche. I will keep the price low to get it ranked high for Christmas.

Remember the 10 scuba diving log books I made? One of them sold 7 copies yesterday

I went on and uploaded 10 scuba diving log books. I've used the same interior shown below, but with different covers.
Will be pricing at $3.99 until I get the first sales, and then increase prices gradually after every sale.

I wasn't expecting on this cover to sell, since I've made other covers way more attractive and spend more time on them. This one took me a minute to make, but sometimes the most simple stuff sells
