Around 650 dollars went for the content writers

And i Gave 50 dollars for the guy who is formatting the content .

I was doing it alone for the first few articles but it was not as good as his work .

I don't plan on doing any link building right now

I am aiming for atleast 100 000 words on my website as the common startegy i've seen 80% of the guys who made great amazon affiliate website use is pumping out shit tons of content during the first months .

I dont expect any significant earnings during the next 6 months .

I'll probably try to get some guest post later on

What i’ve been up to this month :


I am back to my 9 to 5 job:

Expenses so far :1.4k/usd +

The expenses are split between content ( around 1.1k) and article formatter( something like 350usd).


Earned so far : 0 /usd

I am still investing money into website content + formatting


I have crossed the 90000 words mark on my website and have around 54 posts.


But the fact that i was so obsessed with publishing content fast Made me mess out with some posts quality ..


I am planning on going back to check every post using Grammarly and I would like to ask you guys if this affects the posts ranking as i would be updating something like 30+ posts after the grammar edits and this could mean also rewriting quiet few sentences in every post.. ?


I Had an interesting discussion with someone who has built a website to 4k/month in 12 months and he told me that i should be aiming for more words and that 100 000 word count a a goal was not that really good if i wanted to make some good money. So for instance, i think i can achieve 230 000 words published within 6 months of my websites age.


I have around 2 money articles of 6000 words in the pending order.

It wasn’t until recently that i started aiming for long-form buyer articles. I am basically reading amazon affiliate case studies from different forums so i try to implement everything That provides good results for its users.


I think that i am slowly getting out of the google sand box :

Traffic is almost non-existent so far. I guess it’s normal since it’s only been around 2months and 10days ago that I started publishing in the website.


At the very beginning what caught my attention to the business model are the case studies on BHW And then I discovered the income school youtubechannel and I really liked their approach to the business. Just focus on the content and forget about the backlinks. That’s from where comes my thread’s name. WHITEHAT

Since I’ve read the case study’s of people who achieved the 1k/ month mark within 12 months or less who did it with No backlinks I am pretty sure that I can achieve the same thing if i improve the quality of my content.

On the other hand i just don’t want to be missing out on something that can be really important for my website's growth. i mean sure content is really important and along with good keyword research you can achieve great results ; But i’ve read quiet a several journey’s where i saw that backlinks can be really good if you know how to do it.

The more i’m building the website the more i get to learn new stuff and and think about improving my startegy . I Think that these are the benefits of taking action .


Since this is my first affiliate website i still have a lot to learn.

But i know that i can see some good results 10months from now if i just manage to keep going ...


What i will be doing in this month :

-post 40000 words –(a mixture of buyer guides / informational articles)

- editing my posts with Grammarly / rewriting some sentences.

-Learn about internal linking and implement it on the website.

I work at a kind of a sales job so i am really exhausted when I come back home that’s why all i do is outsource pretty much everything but still i have to implement and learn more about on page SEO.


I would really appreciate any critics / advice you have for me ! feel free to tell me that i am doing it all wrong

Nope, I spent almost 4 days on the first 3k words article i wrote and I'm still not convinced it's good enough. I've been hiring people to write. I've had 3 different writers and at least more than 23k words contents written (just about 9k posted, still editing the rest to my taste).

On Link Building, I am surely going to do a few... Probably just a few PBNs (already hunting some expired domains, no luck yet anyway) but I'd be majorly going after guest posts.

But for now, I'm putting all my concentrations on contents.

Hahaha. Yeah, but this is my first SEO attempt. I've been more of a PAID traffic guy. But I have been reading/learning about SEO since 2012. It actually used to scares shit out of me but I need a new challenge right now. I will consider starting a journey thread too. Thank you for the advice.

Exactly. one year ago it would have been impossible for me to think about investing that much into an IM project ..

but when i got into an ecommerce venture i started spending on ads and sometimes the ROI was really bad .

So there were some few hundred dollars lost even tough i've learned quiet a lot .

Today i dont feel that much worried about throwing money on the project as i firmly believe that every dollar you put into Seo projects in general is going to pay off.

and yes I would gladly share some ahrefs in the next update since i did not use their free trial yet.
