how you mean super targeted?

1) searching directly for the company name + keyword and then click directly on it?

2) searching for they keyword, scroll down the GMBs listings and find your URL for the click and visit?

Great share OP. I second that reviews from localized profiles and IP's helps boost your rankings significantly. I would also add that you should add keywords in reviews. Writing reviews with keywords helps in ranking your GMB as well. You should not get reviews from profiles where there is no activity in order to get them cheap. You should always look to get reviews from aged profiles and having lot of activity. If you can get reviews from Local guide profiles of level 4 or 6 it will help alot than getting reviews from non local guide.

Yeah it's something i do whenever possible. Looking for a more scalable and automated solution though.

I'm not using any particular service because we have our own set up for this. There are, however, some people who offer traffic for GMB listings (but they are not cheap).

how you mean super targeted?

1) That's how we do it but with a bot using residential proxies. It needs to be local traffic for it to move your listing up the rankings.

I have a few questions..
Which residential ip service do you recommend? the ones i find are like $500 per month..
I am working on a listing for a locksmith company in florida.. currently the site ranks #4 after 2 yelp and 1 competitor, the GMB is in position 4 and still stuck.. i got it to number 4 from 12.. in about 2 months.
I have been doing almost everything that is in all the forums..
Tag photos, use keyword as the image file, post to to the gmb, respond to reviews, i did a PR to about 40 sites at least, gave quite a nice boost in Ahrefs, most of the PR have the map embedded. Still in position 4. I have to say that this site ranks for way more keywords than the competition. I did notice something that works really really well. That is literally a keyword as the business name. We all know that it helps but wow. I also work on 40 other garage door listings and the spam ranks in the 3 pack in no time. no links, no pictures, nothing! I have seen about 10 different listings with the same phone number, same name, the only thing that is different is the city name..
I also tried geo batch.
I am now trying something that else which i hope will work.. i will keep the forum posted if it does work.
I agree and think that CTR and traffic have a HUGE part in the 3 pack. Once a listing is in the 3 pack it sort of sticks, that makes sense because most people usually click one of the 3.. So it does make sense.. the "trick" is actually to be able to get to the 3 pack.

Make sure that the residential proxy service allows you to use their proxies for Google queries. I've worked with several and don't want to recommend any in particular. Yes, the pricing is fairly steep if you don't have enough income to justify the investment. You can always look out for opportunities to share the package with more people and cut your cuts that way.

Geotagged images don't work anymore, unfortunately.

Possibly but I currently don't have an offer thread for this service but could put one up for you and other blackhatters interested.

I have the same question as everyone else which is the GEO spoofing of local accounts. There are services out there now, but none of them are going to fool Google in my opinion as the service/software needs to take into account a number of things. For example having the search query coming from different platforms (mobile, desktop), different browsers, different device types with different hardware IDs, software, IP's and so on that Google can't detect.
