How do you spam Pinterest?

Hello everybody,

I know, prolly some will give me sh*t and it is a very long shot but here we go. I have been reading about monetising on Pinterest for the last couple of days. So far I understand that people use it to attract clicks on their websites (wp) and make money from those clicks or some work within the affiliate system. Apparently some among you use this "spamming method" on pinterest but nobody actually talks about how they do it. And I just could not understand how people can make 100s accounts a day if a website is required for each of them? or how do they come up with such high number of pins for each account? I wanted to take my chances with you to ask you to share your knowledge about it. How does it work? What bots do you use? So on and sofort. I can see there is an unwritten rule not to talk about it but maybe somebody can give some hints about it. It would be much appreciated.

Wut? Where did you get this idea from? This is a totally normal way of BHW members using Pinterest for marketing. What a bizarre reply. I have no idea why you would say this.

Most of the best people are using bots specially made for Pinterest. You don't need a website for each Pinterest account, but need a Gmail account or Facebook account and you can buy those also or buy a bot to make them for you. Edit: You can make Pinterest accounts just with regular email, but I think it's easier and less bans with a Facebook or Gmail account, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I am still missing some points in my head. Correct me if I am wrong please. So the idea is to generate as many Pinterest accounts through the bots and add each of the pins a destination link to your website(s) and make money through the trafficing am I right?

Edit: Do you have any bot suggestions specific to Pinterest?

Re-Pinning the Pins and commenting on them with your own accounts I guess is the main idea. I am not a Pinterest expert, but it seems like re-pinning should boost visibility of a pin and rank pins or boards higher because of the increased engagement.

If you read a few pinterest journeys here (the ones by xpesos and fullwall3t are good examples) you will realize that doesn't really work well anymore. Pinterest shows your pins to a few hundred initial users, based on their current interests and then looks at how they react to your pin. If they like it, it keeps distributing it, if not, it trashes it, or keeps distributing it to shitty tier-3 users.

Automated repins are super easy to detect and don't get counted. I've tried sending hundreds of repins from youlikehits and other similar point-based sites to my pins and it makes zero difference. Any beginner programmer can come up with a few simple if statements that will differentiate real vs automated repins in 90%+ of cases, let alone a more complex AI.

Trending, interesting and non-disappointing content is the only strategy that currently works well and when you think about it, it actually takes less time and mental energy than spamming, buying proxies and waiting for the ban hammer.

If you do something difficult that takes real effort and that only a few people are willing to do (like make short pinterest videos showing how to do certain hair styles) you will get tens of thousands of repins and thousands of visitors daily. To replicate that with shitty pins and automation will take you 10x more effort.

I tried to upload a few videos, but 90% of them get the label - "Your video is being reviewed. Read our guidelines". And these are absolutely harmless videos with cats and dogs.

I don't know. I just noticed well-made, short videos with annoying music are getting tons of repins and I see a few profiles uploading a ton of them, containing a call to action to their fitness/whatever app in the vid. It's hard to create videos and properly structure your call to action and monetizations + people like them, which obviously creates an opportunity/non-saturated opening in the platform.

But pinterest still limits videos only to a small percentage of the feed, and the CTR on them is for sure really bad, so who knows, I may be wrong. I suspect product videos + a shopify store may kill it, but who knows.

It's not "a totally normal way".
People from BHW or anyone else use automation tools to do their pinning / marketing on Pinterest. Most of those, serious, people are thinking long-term and they are not spamming the heck out of Pinterest like our new-ish member is suggesting he wants to do.
Spam is "irrelevant or unsolicited messages", no matter if we discuss that regarding sending a bunch of emails or, in this case, posting a bunch of images/pins on Pinterest.

Yes, that's correct.

I know exactly where I am. Although this is a blackhat forum that doesn't mean we / they / blackhatters are spamming the internet.
Blackhat is the way of thinking differently. Thinking "out of the box". Automating most of the boring tasks, for an example - pinning on Pinterest.
Blackhat is the way of using your brain to go beyond "imposed rules" by some tech giant, or anyone else.
It's the way of hiding a bunch of your accounts behind proxies. It's the way of using the smallest possible resources, especially when one starts out, to maximize their returns as much as possible.

But, blackhat is not spamming the heck out of some great platform, like in this case our OP want's to do.


This forum is more on the marketing side, which is the opposite of spam.

Have you ever thought why mailing topics are forbidden on BHW?
And if you go and ask owners of the forum they will say to the same, at least in the open - stay away from the spam and don't mention it here.


Sad truth is that most BHW user, maybe even two of you above as the OP, are just kids who don't see further the small, shinny coin which they can grab by doing anything they can no matter what consequences are.

In the case of spamming our below social networks and search giants are changing their algorithms much faster, they limit our possibilities to drive traffic towards our sites, they make us buy much more expensive proxies and tools, they start to track every little step you do on their site, etc.
Essentially - they make the life of a black hatter much harder.

And most of that is thanks to spammers and other irresponsible kids/people who start right away with botting hundreds of accounts on Instagram/Facebook/etc. with unwanted pictures/feeds/videos and sending out a bunch of immature messages to a lot of non-targeted people.

We should talk much more about marketing here. And we're not. The reason is above - a lot of people here want those dollar bills asap no matter what they can cause for themselves or for anyone else.


I'm sad for people like them/you(?).

That's why, from my experience, almost none of you/them will not going to succeed long-term.
One "method" can last only that much.
But, learning how to sell / market properly will take you much further than you ever have thought of.

Spamming is limiting your mind to the one tactic.
Spamming is a great way to spoil the work of other people who just automate their operations and post the content their targeted public wants to see/consume.

And - spammers don't care about their "fellow spammers" or in this case as you guys are saying, "black hatters".
You can help him in every single way, as most of the guys like to do here, but spammers will ruin the whole experience and your own work on that one specific social network.




Are you going to contact that spammer, which you helped earlier, later on, and thank him for destroying botting/blackhat-ing your way on your favorite social network?

No, not really. My arguments are mostly put out here because of the people like you, people who laugh at other guys who try to do their work without spamming the sh*t out of social networks, because of people who are limiting others to their own view of doing things online (in this internet marketing world).

Posting in this thread was mainly because I don't want to see a bunch of newbies start spamming left and right on every possible place online.
There is always a better way.
And I do not agree about your statement regarding posting on Pinterest. That OP from that thread is probably posting his own content which his followers (or people in that niche) will appreciate. He's using automating tool, I believe Tailwind and posting in different boards of his own. And his blogs/shops provide to the visitors exactly what they were hoping to see there.
That's something Pinterest allows.

Spammers think usually like those Russian guys nowadays on Pinterest who are posting a bunch of stolen images in unlimited quantities which lead to blogs where is no content and nothing for the visitors' benefit.

And, once again, you are limiting those people and not showing them other possibilities by laughing at my words. Same with other people in this thread, of course.

As years are passing by I'm noticing more and more people coming to the IM (and "spamming world") comparing it with 8-9 years ago when I joined here. I can only assume that number will be even higher in the next 2-3 years.


I will let my words here to speak to some people who like to hear opposite sides (in this case onto spamming).

Also, I'm fully aware that probably 95%+ people here are not reaching their financial goals from IM. I would be surprised that more than 5% of members are making $1k/month.
That's not a fact I like to see/hear.
If I can steer some guys into another direction, to think long-term, and start building a proper business using "black hat way of thinking" I will be extremely happy. Even if they are from Cambodia I know it's possible.


So, in conclusion - your words can be and will be, interpreted differently from different people and a lot of them will figure out that you are promoting spamming.

I'm sorry about that thing regarding your topic. I haven't looked into your BST because I don't fancy spending time on it and just saw that you are selling link building beside a lot of other stuff.
