Wanna be Porn Star issue.

Alot of girls are getting on BHW just to post their name so horny monkeys flow in to their PH or what ever they post.

Their excuse is "we want to grow traffic" "we saw other girls posting"

Lets make one thing clear, THEY ARE ALL HERE FOR THE MONKEY traffic.

We need a new rule that force them to have another username and forbid posting their "porn" name.

Jokes aside. I don't see anything wrong in them using their porn name on the forum. There are a lot of such 'imposter' names here and it is not like those names/nicknames are 'patented' and forbiden to be used.
I don't see a difference between 'a wanna be' star asking for traffic tips and an IM marketer asking for traffic tips for his porn site.

Guys I'll be the first admit I did help one cam model out on here the other day, I am in the webcam business and she gave me content to work with to promote her, its a win win, people follow my link to sign up to chat with her we both win but I understand what you mean, they are wanting free promotion but in my business they are the product , so if the product is giving samples why not

The thing is, they should follow the rule by not posting their links or a way to find them unless someone like you outreach em etc.

For example, i was promoting 100% free to use service, with no bad intention to my userbase but i was turned down cuz in the eyes of the the admins i was trying to upsell or something idk (the main issue was that users needed a email signup, how else they gonna use a CMS :|) I recieved 3 warning points for that, while porn stars draining free traffic from horny bhwers are allowed to.

Although I agree with your reasoning why they are probably here, it is a marketing forum. With the surge in home productions, eventually performers will find themselves on forums like bhw. In the long run, if they were only here for the monkeys, they would lose more than if they just stayed on and learnt a thing or two. Just got to get on with our business.

If they are posting the exact intro/hello over and over clearly that falls into the spam category for me.

Other than that I dont really see the beef, that being said its all they present themselfs.

Much like we have to be careful when promoting links in official forums. what does reedit say ... your allowed to be a redditor with a business but not a business on reddit.

I am sure if it is one person with a bunch of accounts the mods will figure that out with time and take care of it too.

It kind of feels like they are being unfairly targeted here but I have not been watching this. Just seen a couple on the recent post recently.

I think the easiest way for them to make money would be to create a custom video thread in the marketplace, they would be great to sale ... anything.. pretty sure attractive women work at advertising just about any product.

It is not OK to gather outside contact info without paying the forum owners.

The "porn star" folks are treated the same although you don't see the actions of the staff usually as to their accounts here.

It will be difficult to prove this, because if I am right and really it is a member of BHW then he learned about the use of different proxies and "different browsers" by the change of user agent string etc ....

This should be considered as spam, and messages of this kind are supposed to remain within the introductions category only.
