Scammed by Vybra @vybra

I ordered a website package off him. TAT was 15days (started at June 13)
after 10 days sent me a very week and simple website. almost nothing I asked for is done and design is 0. I've been asking him to complete the work since. he just responds to me like once a day and we are not even clooose to finish.
I've asked for a refund. but he refused and not responding to me.

I purchased Vybra's POD shopify store creation service back in June and while things seemed to be going good at first, it all went downhill.

First Vybra said the store would be completed by Jun 26th. That date came and went and nothing was done at all. I messaged him on skype and he claimed that he was just finalizing a few things and it would be finished July 3rd at the latest. That date passed and nothing was done at all.

I messaged him on skype asking what was up and I have not gotten a response. Since then I've sent a couple more messages and I pm'd him here and of course no response. The guy completely ghosted me. I have already opened a dispute in Paypal so hopefully I get my money back.

This whole thing really bugs me as it's probably one of the priciest services I've ordered on BHW only to have a run in with a scammer. Avoid this guy at all costs!

I contacted him and wanted to work a deal out but it quickly went very downhill and he wasted weeks of time while claiming work was being done without ever showing any proof of anything. Here are screenshots of our private messages here on BHW and one from skype where he confirms he received payment from me. I have the entire skype converstation but because this is being investigated by paypal currently I thought it best not to post the entire chat anywhere else until they have finished. However, you can see where he completely stops replying in the PM's.

Yo this muthafucka' used the Shopify store he made me as a sample screenshot in both sample PMs to others, as well as full screenshots of my brand name and niche and created store, without asking permission at all, or even letting me know that they were there. I don't think my niche is a secret as I've mentioned it many times, but what the fuck @Vybra ? What if that was someone's site who didn't want their niche outed?

This being the case, feel free to check out the link of the Shopify store he used as a sample for me as a reasoning why I decided to a) not provide a review in the sales thread, and b) not pay the ~$100 a month to activate a Shopify subscription for a store that likely would not have made much at all due to the poor design and rushed-together work.

Rest assured that at least 50%, and maybe 100%, of the two samples he provided were not, and never were, actual live Shopify stores. I almost want to assume that the other sample was the review copy provided to @Society Girl ... if so, it almost makes me wonder if anyone ever actually received a Shopify store that they purchased, or if these two were the only ones ever done.

So, here was my experience.

@Vybra reached out to me offering me a review copy of the Shopify service on January 27th. I provided him with my niche and an email address and minimal information. He then proceeded to go completely silent. When his thread went live on May 2, I PMed him asking if anything happened with the review copy of the store. His response the following day:

Hey Sherb, had to pushback everything including your store. Sorry about that... I already had the logo made and did the research for it. Let me finish your store and I will message you today or tomorrow when I have completed it. This type of TAT is not normal btw

Two days later I received what is seen at the URL and in the screenshot. I wasn't going to request a bunch of revisions to something that I never paid for in the first place. However I did find it off-putting that it wasn't noted in advance that I would have to purchase a relatively expensive Shopify subscription. As someone who hadn't ventured into e-commerce, I may be naive, but had no idea that was going to be the case.
