Has anyone seen an increase in there serp rank in the past couple of days? I started ranking for so many words and have seen an increase in traffic by 40% in the past 2 days.

I saw an increase/shaking in rankings yesterday (according to my tracked keywords of around 15 websites on Google.DE)

I honestly don't check on updates anymore since penguin run in real time, everything you see daily are normal fluctuations on website you can rank on top some kws then drop on page 2 or 3 and after few days return on top again it doesn't mean there was any update. But if you do anything bad you will notice big difference.
