IMHO, it should not be possible to hide your profile contents from other members. If you have an open BST and you'd like to check the user his/her forum activity, you're not allowed to do so if the profile page has been limited.

Kindly consider to remove this feature from the user's account settings. Thanks!

Click the number ahead of messages in any of his posts and you can see all his previous posts even if he has hided.

Thanks for all the input so far; I know how to search for users post history but I don't really get why users are allowed to disable access to their profile?
@BassTrackerBoats and @MisterF are linking a SL into profile posts, which is quite valuable information which is not accessible if a profile is limited.

Maybe it might be better as a requirement for opening a BST, that the sellers profile is visible to all and also they must have 2step authentication in place.

Just my thought on this.

Here is a pause for thought - unless you know how to report someone with a hidden profile like this, how do you report them the normal way? (obviously excluding PM-ing a mod/admin)

I think certain individuals are more than aware that they are less likely to be reported if there is no normal report button.

Interesting idea, if part of your due diligence in buying a service from a user relates to the ability to see their profile, then I'm sure we can add a filter in.
This would mean a potential buyer could exclude services from those members that have chosen not to show their profiles. Is this what you're getting at?

When reporting we ask that a member reports a specific message or post rather than a profile. This can be achieved by using the report button, how to report a member can be found here.

I have my profile set to private, though it's not really private. Why is it that you may want to see a members profile? I didn't think having a profile as private would be an issue with sellers? Especially since the whole concept of buyer-seller relationship is based on buyer trusting the seller rather than the other way around?

Seller with sale thread on BHW might be looking for users who are asking for free trials on mostly SMM panels and other common services, Seller then can decide if trial request is valid or just spam based on his posting history.

Oh I got you

No offense to this user but check this user's activity.

I understand. OPs request makes sense.

Edit.
It reminds me of the food markets with free tasters. Some people will go around every shop trying it all but never buy anything. If you offer something for free, the freeloaders will always follow. So though I still agree on it from your point of view. Can't really complain about the other side either.

i like it as it is, if you give free trial the just set some restrictions..

You can check a member's posts by clicking on their messages, which will reveal their activity even if they're hiding their profile.

White BHW theme? You are a freak @Nerva

Topic related, @Festinger actually brings up a good point, there are a lot of spammers out there, and most trusted members here hardly ever have their profile set to private (as far as I remember)
