I am talking about cross selling.
@Diamond Damien what you think should BHW needs to allow cross selling for a fee?

I am talking about sellers, who have more than three thread.
When our signature space gets full we need to advertise our products. So, in this matter according to my personal opinion BHW should allow cross selling in same members thread once in every 3rd or 4rth page.

For instance,

If a jr.vip has 3-4 thread A, B,C and D

So, for a monthly fee or yearly fee.

Thread A should be allowed to advertise its content in every 3rd page of thread B and vice versa.

Readers please hit thanks if you support this. Also, give your valuable input on this.

Thanks and Regards
Brilliant Digital Services

I'm 110% against it.

Maybe 220% against it.

You're a good guy so this is not a reflection on how I feel about you but a sales thread covers what is sold in THAT thread and not a reflection of all you offer on BHW.

Should I be overridden I'm fine with having to read some innane content on a non intellectual website for 3 - 5 hours.

@Brilliant Digital Services You mean cross-promotion of your marketplace threads, with an organic interruption between posts in other marketplace threads that you own?

Currently, that can be achieved by purchasing banners 4 to 8. Feel free to download the advertising deck for further information. However, if you're looking to run it so they only appear in your threads then that's not currently available. If there is significant demand for it then it's something we can put into 2.0

You are thinking as a Mod , I am thinking as a new seller with low sales, or sellers who can't afford advertising cost, when I say with a fee , it means an advertising cost that is with in small range.

.

I have sales threads here.

But you are right I am thinking as a Mod and really as a Marketplace Mod as vetting sales threads takes a fair amount of effort as you have seen.

Frankly, I don't want to spam forum. But, every third page with just a banner without link may help to boost new sellers sales.

Or else we all can rent signature spaces.

I actually think we have too many marketplace threads already, and sellers should take it as a sign that they have too many threads if they can't manage them all without needing to "cross sell" or something.

If your posts are not getting organic bumps from interested buyers, it's probably not a very popular service, and that's OK. Not every service is going to be a popular hit. Not every service can offer free samples effectively. Every 3 days to bump should be enough.

Put some thought into why your posts aren't doing well organically if you have trouble getting sales. You can already pay a fee to edit your original post if you see room for improvements, or you can see some interesting methods people are using to get their posts for "natural" action and implement those yourself.

@SocialManager you are getting it totally wrong. It is nowhere related to bumping. If you have no quality, buyer gives a shit to that product or services or even to the seller. In this case, bumping every hour will suck.
I was talking about related items in a thread. From my personal experience if a buyer enters a shop he prefers to buy multiple products from the same seller. If they are shown to him and if he needs something similar.

No reply in advertising thread appreciated, but a small banner of logo design, in webdesigning thread may work

Speaking as a buyer, I would prefer that all discussion of a particular service be centralized to one thread, and that the discussion not stray into unrelated products or services.

Let's say someone has two similar but unrelated sales threads, one for logo design and one for website design. If the web design thread has a promotional bump for logo design, that might invite people to reply with questions or comments about the logo design, and vice versa. Being a similar type of product, the replies might not be clear about which is being discussed, causing confusion on everyone's part.

I do think it would be a great idea if the thread owner could run ads in positions 4, 5, 8, or 9 of their own thread, but mixing content and unrelated ads is just going to cause confusion.

Here's the deal.

Each sales thread is a separate entity.

I own a store on corner X and have another on corner Y.

I own those stores and own the land under them.

Here we rent corner X and rent corner Y and the rental agreement indicates that we can sell in corner X but not be promoting corner Y.

Should we want to advertise for corner Y we need to pay the guy that handles this - https://www.blackhatworld.com/pages/advertising/

What you are describing is basically a shop, such as an eBay store. This is already basically possible by linking in your signature to your profile. You can have a big banner ad that describes ALL of your services, and either link to your profile and put all of the links as a message on your profile (I don't think there is any rule against that), or just link to an external website offering all of your services.

It's just a completely different thing than a sales thread, as BTB described above.

If I had it my way, the only posts that would occur in sales threads are reviews of services, and constructive responses to reviews of services when needed. The second post in the thread after the approval would be a changeable FAQ. There is way too much spam in these threads as-is.

I bought a content service over a week ago that had almost 60 pages of posts, almost all of which were "samples plz" or "check pm". The original post stated a 2-3 day turnaround time. I wasn't going to read 60 pages of posts, and bought blindly on the turnaround time in the original post. As it turns out, the actual website had over double that as a stated TAT, and I was informed after that time had passed that 6-7 days was for 1,000 words only.

This idea would only service to exacerbate the situation. Controversial opinion I'm sure, but if your sales thread can't stand alone successfully, it shouldn't be a sales thread. I have an ad blocker so low-quality services would not be thrown in my face every time I come to this site.

NOTE: Not an attack on your own services @Brilliant Digital Services , but instead on the amalgam of low-quality multiple-service-providers that we all know and love.
