It doesn’t load that quick. Is there any best practice for optimizing this?lets assume your website load in 1mili second, If google doesnt like the C block ip addresses of cloudflare , You wont rank high
Actually Cloudflare (FREE) sometimes may harm your website speed and SEO rank. It depends from lot of factors of course.
Regarding privacy protection, don't think that cloudflare care for your privacy, anyone can do fake copyright claim and they will provide all the information they have for you.
The SSL from cloudflare will indeed make your website a bit more slower and that because the encryption of your website is made from 3rd party server and not your hosting server directly.
Do your self a favor and move to offshore hosting provider with free or cheap SSL certificates included and ask them to setup it for you.
Interesting... I use CloudFlare pro for a few months now, and I have dozens of top 1-5 keywords rankings, but also many unranked keywords. I might as well go for some case study route - disable CloudFlare for about 1 week.
Top 1 Keywords count since disabling Cloudflare:
25/05 - 43
28/05 - 62
30/05 - 118
31/05 - 130
Hmm..
Any update on this? Did you test it again?Funny that I have just found this post. I stopped Cloudflare whilst switching servers (faster) and then Cloudflare had all the problems recently (had it disabled for over a week or so). I saw one of my keywords jump from not ranked to 11th for a high competition KW. I switched it back on and it dropped out of search 2 days later...
Might test it again, because I was completely baffled how it happened.

To those that have seen a positive effect after "pausing" Cloudflar eon your website:
Did you simply Pause it within CF or did you completely switch the nameservers away from CF?
I'm willing to test this on a few CF sites.
