Interesting IG accounts

Hello again guys,

So I was just scrolling down photos and videos on Instagram and there was something that caught my attention, in particular two accounts: @playnimals and @pawsomepetpics.

They are just normal dog niche pages, with repost content, nothing spectacular, but they have something different: They have extremely large engagement rates, just look the information on igblade.com

So, the thing is that despite the recent IG updates and all of that, they are still getting tons of likes. They have been banned from posting temporarily several times but, after that, they keep posting and they are growing very fast. For instance, the page @playnimals gets about 150 new followers every day. It has only 8k followers (last week they have 6k). It's pretty obvious what these pages are doing, but can anyone expert on this, study these pages to discover whats going on with them.

They have in common that they only repost tiktok posts and the amount of comments doesnt correspond to the amount of likes (they have much less comments in comparison to other pages with the same likes/post)

Yes, that was my first idea that they were doing ads. I saw the likes and the growth and they are just so natural. But here's the thing: I tried promoting one of my posts. My posts get about 200-500 likes on average. So I paid $5 and the results seem very good. I got more than 3000 likes but... to my surprise the post DIDN'T SHOW UP IN THE HASHTAGS and i was quite disappointing. So I went to my insights, content, likes and there it showed that this sponsored post had only 202 likes. My conclusion was that Facebook actually advertises a copy of the original post but at the same time it doesnt make sense because if you go to the post, it shows that it has received 3k likes.

I advertised the post via the facebook ads manager on my computer, not from the instagram app. Also, AN IMPORTANT NOTE: In most dog niche pages, the share of US audience is about 20-30%; Well, on these pages about 60% of the audience comes from US.

They started very early. As I said, last week one of the pages had 6k followers and they are very fresh pages

Could you please explain more? Are they promoting through facebook ads on Instagram? Because I think Instagram makes a copy of your original post when promoting so doesnt add to the organic growth of the post.

and what's the difference? I only want to know if you can add the stats you get from your promotion to the "organic" stats of the post promoted. This is because I want to rank my posts on hashtags. If you cannot aggregate the likes to the original post and the promotion is just a copy, so, what's the point in promoting IG posts XD?

Well, if you say you've seen ads of these kind of pages I suppose that's true but when you advertise a post on Instagram ALL THE LIKES dont add to the organic growth of your post. I'll give you an example: A post published by one of these pages 2 days ago, has now 92k likes. The page has only 8.5k followers. That could be possible if the promotion likes are added to the stats of the post but I think on instagram is just a copy what they make.
