I was checking a few students hosting offer and find out interserver offering 1st year off for student package. Is it good? Siteground has a decent package as well, but after that, they will charge $143 during renewal. Interserver will cost $60 after the first year, which is better than Siteground. If anyone using it, please let me know how good it is in terms of support, server uptime and all.

Thanks in advance.

Ive been using their shared hosting and it is quite good. Only a few downtimes for the past 2 years Ive been with them.

I have been using them for a few years. It's $54 a year if you pay annually and includes unlimited domains and free SSL. Their support is really good. They are based in New Jersey and you can chat, phone, email, or file a support ticket 24/7. I have not experienced any downtime.

I love using them, but their affiliate program sucks if you are wanting to refer clients to them. You are not paid commissions on sales that you make to your clients and they check ip addresses or something and if you log into your client's hosting account, then you make zero on the sale.

Thanks, both of you. I am not concerned about the affiliate as I am not doing it. All I wanted to know, is it good for a personal website. I need to give a try. Thanks again.
