Hello, beginner interested in hardwear!

Hello, I am studying electrical engineering and I have gotten really interested in the hardware side of infoSec. I have been playing with an Adafruit Trincket M0 and the keyboard.h library to create basic payloads but I really want to learn more about badUSBs and other relatively simple devices such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino.

I'm really sorry if this is the wrong site for this, if there is a better hardware focused forum or somewhere I would be better off to learn about theses kinds of things, please let me know!
