Most Backlinks Seller / Agencies talks qbout SERP movement 'guarantee'. If your target keyword move from 50 to 45 !
That's a SERP Change which makes the guarantee valid. So giving a guarantee to me doesn't sound that bad.

Agreed. But I didn't mean that way. Few people or agencies provide a guarantee for like top 5 or top 3 or something like that. If you do something right, there will be a serp movement for sure. Either positively or negatively.

In SEO, you can't guarantee results. It is just too unpredictable. If i were to run some sort of link building service, i would never offer a guarantee like that since so many factors influence rank. What if one of my customers buys a package for a penalized site, or one that has been stuck in sandbox for years? It makes no sense at all. I couldn't take linksellers offering guarantees seriously and would seriously doubt their offerings.

I doubt there are any guarantees except guarantees that specific actions will be taken.

And if a SEO buyer is demanding a guaranteed top result, chances are they may be setting up a cover excuse to chargeback after they got hundreds of hours of work out of you for ranking their site, for free.

Some people here seem to misunderstand that there is a legitimate business model involving guarantees with SEO services. When people say "guarantee," they really mean "money back guarantee" if the client isn't happy with the results. This is entirely viable if you increase your base cost to cover the refunds that may be required. If you have a serious private blog network, for example, it can cost you almost nothing to add a client's links to the site and wait for the results.If the client is happy, you made $1,000. If the client isn't happy, remove the links and you lost maybe $50 for the content and 1 hour of effort, but keep the content anyways, and many times the client will come back begging for the links back because their rankings dropped again.
This is just an example. We are a blackhat SEO/Internet Marketing website. There is nothing wrong with guarantees. We know how to move websites higher in the search engine rankings using blackhat methods. We don't need to be able to achieve a client's goal 100% of the time to be profitable and legitimate.

Business works only on the basis of trust. You can offer a refund or free rework guarantee if someone is in for 6-12 month contract.If anyone providing guarantee then stay away from them
