When will there be a more humane rivial to Twitter?

I became an avid user of Twitter for 4 years and thoroughly enjoyed my experience and met some new and interesting people along the way. My page was a lovely devoted and positive page . It was not politically driven . However over the years my account had been compromised on a few occasions. When this happened Twitter would ask me to type in my email address . I did so and was able to use my account. Recently a youtubr whom i subscribed to was falsely arrested and she attached a video footage . I -o f course lend a few words of support . Within a day i received a notification from Twitter advising my account had been compromised from a user or someone not related to Twitter ( possibly the Tennessee Police or a celebrity.??? However recently my account was compromised again and a code was sent my email address which Microsoft refuse me to have access too. Twitter had been extremely unhelpful , just responded using re-generated emails . When i recieve a half decent one they referred me back to Microsoft who had been a asshole at giving me back my hotmail account. I invested a lot of time and effort into creating my page on Twitter and extremely annoy at them and Hotmai. It seems they do not want me to be on Twitter. When i tried to create another account- within seconds Twitter locks it .. Anyone experience this?

No good News for you unfortunately.

I probably burned through 5-8k Twitter accounts in my IM time. Within the days Twitter is becoming more and more strict and it's almost impossible to create an account without getting locked out 5 minutes later (PVA , Recaptcha) - Trust me. I tried creating it with everything, Multilogin Browser, Virgin Proxy, 4G, Bluestacks APP, even by my own phone and I always got a PVA.

It seems like they might have made that a new standard for most people especially those that register with emails that Twitter labels as LQ ( such as mail.ru) for example.

I'd say frequent lockouts are not preventable anymore unless you have a spectacular account that is Aged for years, has authority, good activity, good IP and no lockouts or bans in the past.

I might be totally wrong though as I'm still testing a lot!

My account with Twitter has been compromised a few times. I have very good activity - no bans ..but yet they treat me like a criminal

If you have a social media account you care about, it's a good idea to have a recovery email address linked what you can access any time. It's not really Twitter, who's at fault. Hotmail/Outlook is not really good for this purpose, if it's an account you otherwise don't use. If there's no activity, they suspend the account fairly quickly.

As explained previously when my account was compromised (on numerous occcasions) before , twitter would ask to confirm my email address- once done , i was back in. On this occasion they requested that i obtain a code via email . I entered my CORRECT password for hotmail and it did not work. I filled out of correct details ( that i recall when i created the account ) and Microsoft kept being difficult and not allowing me to obtain my account. I called them on numerous occasions, went online chat , provided them with a telephone number in which to recieve my verification but they kept putting me off or ingoring my complaint. Now they have suspended the account permanently which means i can no longer access my twitter account. It appears to me that either someone who i have been making a fan page about has been pressuring Twitter to no longer give me access to their services because i feel deliberately targetted and for doing nothing wrong - other than lend a few words of support for a friend who had suffered injustice

I meant your Hotmail account. How is that Twitter's fault that you lost access to your Hotmail account? Email providers deactivate your account after certain amount of inactivity, when that happens, you can't login anymore, the account is gone. Hotmail/Outlook is not the best for this purpose, if you don't use the account once in a while.

Then why couldnt Twitter send for vertification in the same fashion they have been doing on many occasions when my account was compromised, which was to ask to confirm the email address? No one would know what the email address was other than the provider

Because when you're locked for numerous times, they switch things up a bit and they don't only ask to type the address, but they actually send an email. I don't quite understand what happened exactly, whether your account was compromised or not. But it doesn't really matter, when you can't access a recovery email address, like it or not, that's your responsibility. People often think, that they own social media accounts, when in fact those can get taken away in any minute and you can do jackshit about it.

That is not necessarily the case - a lot of providers abuse their positions . I provided alternatives for Twitter but they where so adamant to conspire with Microsoft. Even if they could not hand me back my original account because of Microsoft being an asshole. Why prevent me from creating another ?

I don't understand your question.

Only trick I know is to phone-verify the account. I haven't found a way out of the PVA block

No matter how many times you try be co-operative they get a kick out of constantly abusing your privacy. They would false feed you into a sense of security to more and more exploit your privacy

What kind of abuse? Phone verification has been pretty common the past 10 years or so.

I did not understand the Factor Authentication at the time and left it as standard. Of course it is no use to me now

Are you for real? I think, it's clear by now, that Twitter doesn't care about your account, let alone conspire with Microsoft against you. How exactly did you figure this?And what alternatives are you talking about? Every site has its own security measures in place for a reason, you can't just change a recovery email address. That's not how things work, not on Twitter, not on any other site.

You can always create/buy a second account. Twitter simply blocked your device/ip address from creating a new one, so from now on you need a proxy at the very least, if you want to use Twitter. I highly suggest you to read this section and pay attention to threads, which talk about Twitter bans and operating multiple accounts.

Having a single suspended account is far from the end.

As crazy as his may i appear - no matter what i do Twitter will ban me - for no reason I feel they are on a demeanted witch hunt. They are about making money and if they are paid to remove particular accounts , that is what they will continue to do . Creating another account is just placing oneself in a deeply uneasy situation - wondering when i am going to be ban again without notice

Well, i guess you need to consider a different line of work, because that can happen in any moment, not just on Twitter, but any social media site. There was a ban wave on FB too recently affecting many legit accounts.

I have been a member of Twitter for 4 years without any bans. Without any of the foolishness they are hell bent on practising today.I am not sure what you mean when you advise of another line of work because this insensitive scrupulous way in which Twitter has been carrying on , isnt what i have known them to be. It use to be such a fun social site but now has turned in a bullying zone
