The Ultimate Alexa Ranking Method. It Works

I used the SuperAlexaBooster yesterday and sent 1000 hits to my website.

I have just looked at my google stats for yesterday and it does not show 1000 additional hits. It just shows the normal amout of traffic.

Also my Alexa ranking went up from 4,104,000 to 4,117,000.

Aside from being a numptee, what am I doing wrong?

I noticed the same thing and went into my C-Panel and check the Webstats on it and it did not show any hits. So i went and grabbed some different proxy servers and created my own proxy list and now I am seeing hits in my Webstats. I believe most of the proxies are dead that they use. I will let ya know what i find as well. I am pushing 100 hits an hour with about 1k or so proxies.

Did your webstats update instantly? As my stats show no update at all - even with my own proxy list.

Does something have to be changed in the Advanced Settings, as this is twice I've used it - 2 different proxy lists and my Ranking is going up! Not down.

the proxies don't work. haven't worked for days. this will do nothing for ur site unless u have working clean proxies

My ranking comes right down... but I am using the firefox method not superalexabooster.

My ranking was updated around 24hour later.

Strange. I checked my Alexa Rank today and it dropped by around 5 million!

I also did the Firefox method, *but* I didn't use FoxyProxy, or any proxies. I simply used the 'Reload Every' - unless the superalexabooster worked when I tried a different Proxy List - even though StatCounter didn't register any visits.

I think I'll do both again today and hopefully see another drop tomorrow.

This method does not work for me :(

This is what I did:

  1. Installed Alexa Sparky Addon in Firefox
  2. Installed ReloadEvery add-on in Firefox
  3. Restarted firefox and Set the Reload Every option to 0 minutes and 1 second
  4. I left the system on for about 8 hours and I did this Reload Every for every 1 second in 3 different tabs.

After 8 hours, I checked my alexa ranking and it's still the same 15061867

What am I doing wrong?

@twisted_one: This is only a suggestion, but maybe you should try to reduce your reloadtime from 1 sec to 2-4 sec, and run that only in 1 window. Then if your rankings start to come down, you can start to benchmark your settings to find the ones that play nice with you/your connection.

Just an idea.

Being impatient, I posted 2 threads up it takes around 24 hours for Alexa to update. Also I only run it with a min 10 second delay so the entire page has time to load properly.

Lol, I agree! I have been impatient. I will slow down and make it as 10 seconds. I will try it tonight and post back the results :)

Mine dropped 5 million yesterday - I had it on reload every 5 seconds, but didn't use a proxy - just my own IP.

It's been mentioned on here before that Alexa must not be bothered with different IPs.

This is two methods in one.You can use them both at the same time.If the super alexa booster isn't working,go to advanced settings and change the keyword list and score fresh proxies.I run six super alexa boosters at once and my new domain is 8 days old and with the booster only i've went from 28,000,000 down to 12,000,000 and i'm building backlinks while running this and getting more traffic everyday.Powerful stuff here.

What I just thought of too... In FireFox just go to Tools,Content and shut Javascript off. As long as you have the Alexa Toolbar should be good to go. Then there's no worry's at all about risking your Adsense....

I checked my Alexa Ranking today for what I did the day before yesterday. My Alexa ranking has gone up from 15061867 to 15156265. While it works for everyone here but for me then I sure am doing some wrong process. I don't know what it is though. I will again give it a week time bu Reloading every 10 second. Let's see how it turns out for me...

My Alexa ranking went still higher 15,178,376 Lol Horrible, Seriously! I am gonna give this one final shot by tomorrow. One new thing I will be doing is - Register at Alexa and add my site there. I already have the Alexa Sparky installed though. So, this will be my final try and I will check my results back on Tuesday morning. I will then post back here if I hit any gold.

Mine went down the other day but in the last 3 days, gone up a small amount each day.

So it must have worked initially, but has since stopped, so it seems. I've done exactly the same thing, using both the Reload Every option + Booster. Neither method lowered the Rank in the last 3 days.

Google ads and Statcounter stats both require javascript to activate them. Super AlexaBooster does not activate the javascript in the same way that search engine spiders don't activate it. You'd need to look in your webhosts stat files to find these hits.

Super AlexaBooster does work, I've checked using a network analyzer to look at the individual packets. Unfortunately, what it reports as hits is not correct. An awful lot of the proxies used don't work, but it still reports them as hits. I've confirmed this using the same packet analysis.

The best thing you can do is download as many proxy lists as you can find, and load them one at a time letting them run for a day or so before changing them.

If the developer could fix his reporting errors, he could build in a method of outputting a list of good, working proxies, which would help us all. I'm not a programmer, but I can see in the network analyser logs, the valid responses to a successful post, so it shouldn't be that difficult.

As far as foxyproxy is concerned, I haven't found a way of rotating through the proxies yet, what I've been doing is using a .pac file to load the proxy list, and every few hours, going in and deleting the first proxy in the list to force it to use the next one. That's how I discovered that a lot of the proxies are bad. Some generate a login request, some result in chinese garbage on the page plus other errors. I just keep deleting until I find one that works.

Bear in mind that if you use a browser with foxyproxy and reload every, you do need to disable the google ads at least on the page you are reloading. You can leave the statcounter code in place to monitor the traffic, though I did notice with one site that even set to reload every 10 seconds, with the statcounter code contained in an include file separate from the page, it took that long to load the page that the statcounter code never got loaded.

Hope this info helps.
