I have a site that combines local News and Tech niche(with lots of keywords) For my country NG. But honestly I got confused on whether to focus on just d tech or still work with both.

Although I am still trying to see what works best for me. On this junction I seek you Humble opinion

Why not combine them and focus on TECH NEWS?

Basically follow the Twitter accounts of several news outlets in your country and filter for TECH NEWS

Focusing on just tech will gradually make it difficult for you to rank and get indexed. News is a daily concern. Perhaps, you could publish tech related news and keep it consistent to see how well it works and step away from usual news like politics which doesn't really contribute to tech.

My site was hacked recently, although i have resolved the issue. now the problem is the index pages in google search. I have request for removal, but still the pages are still there. I even submitted a sitemap of my website.I just dont know how to get that index page away. any Help??

I suggest you focus in one niche so people won't be confused on your website. I would prefer local news, for the main reason that you'll never ran out of article to write since there are fresh news everyday

I do not know your niche, and I don't go to random links. But here is some questions to ask yourself.

Do both of those topics compliment each other right? There is nothing wrong with going broad. Think of a news website. They cover local, country, and world news. But it is all very consistent. And they compliment each other well.

Also focus on the type of visitor that makes you money. What are you selling? Are you advertising? Is there a market for those types of advertisers?
