Affiliate Links

Hey everyone,

I recently came across a fairly new "watch videos, make a couple dollars a day in the background" website run by a reputable owner in a small community that has not been mentioned on BHW before. He is still pushing out updates and from what I can tell, paying out (I just reached the minimum threshold and will post payment proof with my post). I currently use both sites for different reasons and after learning about how he operated his first site at a loss in order to benefit the users it made me want to help him grow his current site which by the looks of it is still under 100 members.

Anyways, I will save the details for the actual post I plan to make but I was wondering if I could safely use an affiliate link if I follow Section 4 of the ToS? The reason I ask is that when I go to the affiliate programs forum there is a header that says "do NOT spam your affiliate links here".

Basically, I have two questions:
1.Can I make a single post with a single affiliate link in that forum or have the rules changed?
2.The thing is, this site/method would fit more into the making money forum but it seems that affiliate links are not allowed in the making money forum. Is this correct?

In most of the places affiliate links/promoting are not allowed. In Marketplaces you have to be a Jr. VIP member or have a Marketplace seller status (I believe in all of them). So before posting in any forum I suggest reading forum's rules very carefully.

Thank's for the reply but this was about 2 months ago now. The post has already been made and the issue with the links sorted by a mod. Though better late than never I guess.
