How to sell brand domains?

Hello There
7 Months ago i purchased two domains which were related to an hosting companies, they are quite popular and have good userbase.. What i did was the original domain of the company had .com extension so i used the same domain name but with different extension.
So now i have tried to sell it multiple times in auction at namecheap but i guess no one is interested in buying it.. Is there any way we could sell brand domains like it?

I don't think i will sale it after it will be bigger than original one since where they are now, they are already making millions in revenue.
