I liked when Flippa let me find blogs and content sites that people worked hard to create but just gave up on. Now all I see is automated this and dropship that, which I don't want. They became useless to me after flipping that switch.

That was flipped a while ago. It seems like they tried to change, but gave up on it. But yeah, it was more interesting when there were more sites like that. I think people aren't making sites for fun like they used to. They make FB pages or groups, or WhatsApp groups and do what they do there. There just aren't as many small content sites anymore.

No, only high prices ones. They are probably the best known online business marketplaces. Flippa probably failed at their attempt to focus on high priced business because of EF's competition.

Flippa just changed their listing format again the other day. They dropped success Fee back down to 10% art least and looks like it cost $15/month to list. The new "Flippa.Business" format is trash. Cant attach more than one file. Cant include a regular listing description anymore, have to wait on Flippa to approve listings now, etc..
They took out listing upgrades a few months ago which really hit me hard. My listings use to sell within a few days using the $150 listing package, now I am re-listing 2-3 times to get a sale smh

What are the benefits of the $69 premium? Do you have a higher chance of selling?

I think at this point, flippa is trying to "high up" caliber, whereas they have more strict policies.
I agree that the new design is absolutely trash. Especially about messages, they really took downhill.
Personally I think they wanted to work straight with seller - buyer, and eliminate web flippers?
One major thing that I see is the "Broker" section. at least of $250k in sales. This indicates that they are more likely would like to work with high end customers.
Which sucks for us.

I'm glad to see this thread is still getting messages. I can't wait to go through them all thoroughly. In the meantime I thought I'd spitball some ideas.

Why not sell on BHW like @Asif WILSON Khan mentioned? He is an Excutive VIP and I bet knows what he's talking about. There are over 8M users on BHW and all of them are interested in quality money-sites.

I would start to build an audience you could sell to. You can't link out from BHW but you can link back. Start a FB Page supported by a FB group. Pin your Page to your Group and market your group.

Create a Squeeze Page giving away a niche-related offer and collect emails while simultaneously autoresponding a linkout to your Group.

Use tools like Ninjablaster & Jarvee on a VPS to drive targeted social media traffic to your squeeze page. List some of your sites on the various marketplaces but in your sales description backlink to your SP. List sites, auctions, and listings with business brokerage classifieds like bizbuysell dot com [noaff]

Maybe even try to workout deals with brokers to access their lists. I'm sure some people on their lists don't want to fork over the dough for an established site. Buy those leads!

Do whatever you can to grow your own audience on FB/Email. Pay for adverts for your page. Juggle the traffic between website, email, page & group, and then list with BHW sending all that traffic to your BHW listing.

P. S. Advertise here. Run ads for $90 a week. Advert in a Sig... Even rent Sigs from Admins/Mods. Giveaway freebies. I think you can promote your listing here internally once every 72hrs. Offer a freebie thread and at the end of each day reply to all the messages in 1 post.

It's gone now. Probably too many negative comments. Those posts by the 'community' are mostly written by Flippa employees.

Flippa says you can't market to your customers any additional services, but I asked once and I think they said it's ok if the customer contacted you first. You'd have to contact customer support with the exact situation to know for certain if it's against the TOS.

Wait, are you seriously saying that Flippa is telling you you must list the website on Flippa after creating it? Makes zero sense. Flippa says to make phone calls and also share emails when talking to potential bidders. One should give their info and ask customers to contact them outside of flippa foR new deals.
