React is a pile of crap. Also, you are not hired to know to react, after all, it is just a template system, and a lousy one.

Anyways, this post sounds like a "get rich soon" scam. Now, let's say you know to react, then you must know javascript (and all the tricks of it) and you must know express (why? because react is more useless than a potato without a backend) and you could learn Mongodb cause it's easy but with a terrible (bad) performance and you don't want to use it in production.

React is only the V from MVC, where V stands for JSX (that is not HTML) plus javascript. So, we could use React or simply use a template system (that we could learn in a weekend) + javascript.

I hear somebody says React is not so bad but it was designed for Coffescript, not for JS. It explains a lot.

Click bait title. Feels like a buzzfeed title. Also the mail is just pure and simple marketing bs. (not targeting the op, but code academy). JavaScript per se won't make you earn that amount of money, it's what you do with it and your overall abilities. Learning react from an online video site won't definitely make you make 100k a year. 100k a year jobs on any language usually require at least 5-6 years of experience and usually require you to know master more than one language.

Sorry don't want to sound mean but I get triggered with the "learn to 'code' in three months and make ***,*** a year" bs. There are high earning doctors and there are low earning doctors. Programming is not much different.
