How good are concatenated domains?

I have some domains parked that has join of company name and it's technologies. For example, say Google announced today to take over Looker at few billions. Now, does that two names joined together as a domain name with .com tld might have some value in the future? Have anyone tried registering and selling it for good money?

Anything with a trademark in it and your working for free.. They can’t make you transfer the domain, but they can legally prevent you from doing anything with it.

Depends on how big and good/nasty the company is, yes this is a good way to make money. Try not to target huge corporations. You can target medium to low income companies and offer them the domain. This is still a very good method of making money.

Giving you just an example, lets say a website pops up on AppSumo and it was launched half a year ago. Lets assume its a video editing tool called Videoz. The domain is videoz.com. Their AppSumo campaign is successful and they made $500,000, but since they are new and blind from a lot of cash, they forgot to register videoz.net. So that's the time to offer them videoz.net for $10,000 - $20,000. Trust me they won't mind paying that.
