Cold emailing success rate? Need business help

I am getting into cold emailing for promoting my service, but I am unsure of the results that I should expect and if I should continue on with building my cold email list. I have a list of about 2k emails that I am going to try to cold email. These are all emails that I have built from my website (my service is related to my website's content). I was wondering if anyone could tell me the approximate success rate of cold emails for say every 1k emails? For example, if I sent 1k emails, how many responses should I expect to get back? Any help is not just welcome but highly appreciated.

Cold pitching does work for sure. But it really depends on the quality of email lists that you've scraped. No one can tell the exact no of responses these emails could get back to you. Use a bulk mailing tool and don't let your mails fall in the spam filter.

Yeah, it does work, but it depends A LOT on how you present yourself. My best latest rate was about 20%, but I did make the email veeery convincing and it was for a service that was in dire need.

My advice for your would be to write custom first lines for each lead, this would skyrocket your open rate and reply rate.

Thank you for the recommendation. That can be useful.
But I even don't know what product to promote. They are not customers of any particular shop.
