For my business I use WordPress because
1. Easy to use
2. Awesome plugins available for SEO and speed optimisation.
3. Too many themes are available to create beautiful sites.
4. Blogging is very easy.

But one thing. HTML sites rank better than WordPress. Search for any keyword and you will find that first site is in HTML. Correct me if I am wrong.

WIX is also attracting me to try it out once.

For SEO I use ahref and SEOsitecheckup
For speed I use Google page speed insight and GTmetrix.

I thought that it was obvious now : WordPress is the most awesome CMS you can use for everything.
I already used it for blogging, for a business site and for e-commerce.
It suits easily everyone needs.

Does this ease comes with a trade of, like performance ?

not at all. I have large, image-heavy big page WP sites loading in 2-3 seconds and smaller sites loading in under a second.

Performance is down to many factors, size of site, host, CDN amount of plugins etc etc

Thanks! Plain HTML, I agree you don't need more to render a page however I see a "new" movement like
https://developers.google.com/web/progressive-web-apps/#reliable.

I will ask his opinion but I would be very surprised if it was not Wordpress.

Can you elaborate on the AI and Wordpress, i don't see a correlation between those two.
